This thread is basically a general discussion of Brawl/Melee/64. In it, you can chat about any aspect of the game itself, challenge fellow guild members in brawls (friend code sharing), share advanced techniques, post your match videos, etc.
Now to get this thread rolling, we could all post our mains/secondaries, skill level (rate from 1-10), and what we love about Smash.
----------------------------------------------------------
As for me:
My Main is forever going to be Mario in all of the games. My secondary is Marth (only in Brawl though).
My skill level in Smash 64 is around 7/10...but probably softened to 5/10 since I hardly play it anymore.
Skill level for melee is a solid 8.5/10 (very adept in wave dashing/L-Canceling) However it probably lowered to a 7/10 since Brawl made me extremely soft.
For Brawl my skill level is 6/10 (which is debatable). The only advanced techniques I use are cape gliding and Mario's extended F-Smash....
I love Smash for it's replay value. When I first played Melee I thought it was pretty fun and played casually. Didn't know what I was doing. However, when I was introduced to advanced techniques, it opened a whole new depth to the game where I wanted to explore more. Such discoveries made it into a new game for me. The only problem was that I didn't have many challenging people to play against where I lived. Hence Brawl and it's online feature made my day. As I faced challenging people online, it made the game more fun and training worthwhile. I wish that MLG welcomes Brawl like it did with Melee... however I don't know if they already did. Haven't checked the Smash Boards in a while.
