this is a facebook album of my work from my first semester of design. I still haven't bothered adding second semester's stuff because there weren't that many projects and idk I'm lazy.
I feel like I'm always like "stfu guys I'm an artist too!" but feel inferior for some lame reason because I don't do avi art/anything with photoshop.
I'm oldschool, kay? cool
so uhhh yeah I guess I want to know what you guys think even though it doesn't matter.

i like the second one in the top row. it's actually all pretty awesome. even though i don't really like most stuff like that, it's great aesthetically.
also omg still life that stuff makes me CRY xDD
& don't feel inferior lol.
though i guess it's like how i feel a lil inferior irl cause everyone at my school is like "OMG FINE ART ART NOUVEAU JHGJAS"
and i'm like "lol digitial art and comix??? " crying

That's really good, Hannah.
I wish I could figure out what the ******** my strength is with drawing.
Besides shitty little scenery sketches, I tend to hate everything I do. Your stuff is good, and it's real life applicable. Not many people are gonna pay to get some avi art of someone else. >__>'

thanks gaiz
but feel like I should throw this out here: this obviously like isn't all I do, this is just class/portfolio requirement stuff from my first semester at ISU. xD
like showing my technical skills and medium proficiency.
didn't choose to do still lifes and definitely didn't choose the subject xD hence floating baby arm. that baby was in the damn center of the still life and like almost everyone ended up having a piece of it in their composition. crying
I enjoy doing my own creative thing, too, of course, which is what I could just do for a living, but because I don't and because I have to do a million other things with my life, I rarely/never have time for my own art. crying now that I'm out of hs anyways.

uhh the college I was at requires a year of pre-design (core design classes + gen ed classes equaling 30 credits or more) before you can submit a portfolio/essay to apply to any number of the design programs offered.
I was going to go into graphic or studio arts, but because those two design programs are the school's least popular/funded programs, I decided it would be a waste of money to go there.
and now idk where I'm going sad

You're more of an artist than I am. I'm barely a cartoonist.
Dude, I really like your stuff. I don't particularly feel like making a long post about it now, but keep in mind that I could if I wanted to. There's a lot to talk about there.

That's pretty badass Hannah. You don't need to do avi art to prove you're an artist or whatever I have a lot of respect and admiration for traditional and old school artists I'd love to see some of your personal art tbh, 'cause proficiency is okay and nice and dandy but what I like best/find most important is personal style & meaning
