Story
Past, Present, Future. Each of these times are connected via an invisible gateway that none can truly see. What would happen if one of these time periods was to be tampered with? Well a large group of unlikely heroes are about to find out.
A strange being from the future has obtained a very special power, a power that allows him to move freely through time however he sees fit. By venturing into the present and the past, he has caused a variety of problems that are now affecting the various time zones. Places are disappearing, people are vanishing, even creations, buildings, and more seem to be disappearing from existence and people's memories! If left unchecked, the entire world and all three time periods could fade away entirely!
Many heroes from Past, Present, and Future must now band together to expel this evil from the world! Whichever time period you are from, you must meet with others of your time period and figure out a way to meet with those of other time periods. You must all work together and fight the evil that now plagues the world. Good luck!

Settings Past: The Past is a time of building. The many kingdoms, towns, and cities are not quite as finished as they could be. They are still in the process of building prosperous lands full of life of all kinds. There are many monsters that roam the world during this time period, and among them roam groups of bandits as well. There are occasional wars that take place between kingdoms that disagree with one another. Overall, it's not one of the best time periods to be in. This is in the Medieval time of the world.
Present: In the Present, the kingdoms, villages, and cities are all fully built. There are still quite a few castles and things aren't as advanced as they could be, but it's a nice, peaceful world. There are not as many wars these days, but sadly there are still many monsters roaming the world during this time period. Still, this is not a bad time period to live in.
Future: The Future is quite the extraordinary time period to be in. The world is far advanced compared to the Past and Present. There are many machines that wander the world and go about doing work for the people. Guns have been invented, as well as a variety of other weapons, armor, etc. There are cars, though none of them can fly as of yet. There are trains and boats, even crafts that can fly through the sky. However, the world is covered in darkness and no one knows exactly why that is. Still, with all the cities lighting everything up, no one really seems to care. All-in-all, it's a great place to be with many casinos, amusement parks, and many other fun places and people of interest.

The Rules - I'd like it if you'd post at LEAST a paragraph consisting of at least 4 sentences, though two or more paragraphs are definitely recommended.
- Please follow the standard TOS.
- Keep everything PG-13.
- You must be active. If you are going to be away for a day or longer, please inform someone either via PM or via the OOC thread.
- Try to keep the font size anywhere from 9 - 11 all right?
- Don't use blinding colors that are impossible to read without highlighting.
- I don't mind if you curse as it's natural for some to do that. However, don't excessively use curse words please. If you do I'll give you a warning to clean up your act (as well as your post) and if you choose not to follow my advice, you can & most likely will be removed from the RP.
- PM all profiles to me with the subject title "Dragon Quest Rules!"
- I am allowing you to have a MAXIMUM of 3 characters.
- Try to have fun with it!Basically just follow the ToS & these rules and you'll be good to go. ^^

Spells, abilities, classes and information on classes, etc. etc. Dragon Quest - The Quest of Time OoCNaturally, the first link I'll include is the link to the OoC thread for this rp. ^^ Dragon Quest fansite with lots of informationThat link leads you to a good Dragon Quest site with information on all the spells and abilities, the classes, etc. from each of the games. Simply click on the game on the left hand side that you'd like to check out. On the right hand side, a bunch of new links will become available. Such as Magic, skills, talents, etc. It will help you out TREMENDOUSLY if you ever get confused or lost on what you'd like to do with your character. ^^ Sadly...it doesn't have information like that on all of the games. *sighs* Dragon Quest 1 & 2 FAQsOk, for that link, click on the first walkthrough at the very top and you can look through it to find a LOT of information on those first two games. Spells and their information should be pretty helpful. ^^ Dragon Quest 3 FAQsThat link takes you to a page with many links to some very helpful information. ^^ Spells and class information are just a few of the things you'll find. 3nodding Dragon Quest 4 FAQsThere, click on the first Walkthrough at the top. Present Characters Hal Name: Hal Fuu Endurich Age: 24 Sex: Male Time Period: Present Class: Warrior Posting Color: Dark Slate BluePersonality: Hal is the strong, silent type. He has a kind heart, but he rarely speaks unless it's truly necessary. Hal is a defender of peace and helps people in need. Biography: Growing up as an orphan was never easy. His parents died early on in his childhood and he has no memory of them. Hal was taken in early on by a kind, elderly woman. She fed him and gave him everything she could, though it wasn't much. She was poor, but it was a good life. He always had a strong sense of justice and would always do what he could to protect her and the others in the village he grew up in. However, after some time she contracted a nasty disease and died after four months. At the age of 19, Hal took on the class of Warrior, picked up the art of the sword, and began on his journey around the world to keep the peace. People call him the "Peacekeeper" and he fulfills that role quite well. This Warrior is known throughout the world and is one of the best. At one village, Hal took on a young teenage girl as she had no place else to go. Together they have been wandering for a little over two years. Now that a strange, new evil lurks in the shadows, Hal fights even harder to deal with the new dangers that have taken to terrorizing the world. However, she is very sweet and caring and is quick to heal those who are injured or near death with her magic. Biography: Valerie grew up with a nice family and enjoyed peace for a long time. Her parents were nothing but kind to her, and her brother was incredibly protective of her. She studied at the local temple in the ways of restorative magic and soon became a Cleric. Whenever she saw an injured animal or person, she would heal them and never asked for any form of payment in return. One day, bandits raided the town and killed her family while she was away. Nearly everyone in the village was brutally murdered and there was nothing she could do to bring them back to life. Val was furious with herself for not learning how to use the magic spell Zing yet and found herself brought to tears as she fell to her knees praying to God to please watch over their souls in Heaven. After some time, a traveler came to her village and found her alone. Seeing as he had a kind soul and she had nowhere else to go, she followed him and soon became his partner in keeping the peace. Likes: Hal, visiting temples and churches, helping people, studying in the ways of restorative magic, etc. Dislikes: Seeing people hurt (especially Hal), failing to save someone, bandits & monsters, rude people, etc. Fears: The new evil threatening the world, losing Hal Starting Weapon: Wizard's Staff Starting Spell(s): Heal, Squelch Starting Ability(ies): None Other Information: Val carries a small pouch full of healing herbs of various kinds at her side. Future Characters Greggory Name: Greggory Jen Nuroki Age: 14 Sex: Male Time Period: Future Class: Engineer Posting Color: Royal BluePersonality: Greggory is always eager to please people, especially his Master (the one he studies under). This young man is quite the genius and loves to show off his brilliance at times to those who are curious. However, he is not a braggart and is actually really kind and a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. Biography: Ever since he was a child, Greggory has always been curious as can be. He loved to tamper with things and learn how they worked. Greg has even managed to become quite the inventor in his short 14 years of life. He has created a wide variety of tools, weapons (mainly guns), robotic animals, etc. His parents have always been fascinated with him and weren't surprised in the least when he graduated high school and even college at such a young age. One year ago, Greg received a job offer to work as an apprentice to a genius Engineer/Inventor. It was the chance of a lifetime, and Greggory immediately accepted the offer and begun work immediately. The hours were long and he often spent all day in the warehouse where the inventor worked. Together they have worked furiously on invention after invention. Their newest invention is something truly wondrous that has power beyond a person's wildest imagination. However, lately, now that the project is nearing completion, Greg's Master has begun to feel more and more nervous and is often fairly panicky. Greg knows something is wrong, but he's not quite sure what to do. Likes: His Master, inventing, working on new things, his family, his inventions, etc. Dislikes: Seeing his Master nervous, failing, seeing his inventions destroyed, etc. Fears: Losing his Master and his family, seeing his inventions destroyed, failing Starting Weapon: Shock Pistol Starting Spell(s): Crack, Buff Starting Ability(ies): Quick Shot Other Information: Greggory often carries his tools on him in his pouch.
