Nothing much.... I'm just chilling (there seems to be a theme here razz ) Glad that I'm not working to the bone 'cos of school...
Gonna be following the World Cup too, I think - no offence to the Americans, but I want England to crush USA in their opening round wink razz

Final Fantasy XII, yesss. I was playing that most of the day yesterday. Had that game since last November and I STILL HAVE NOT BEATEN IT. Clearly not spending enough time on it.
Today I was rereading a Drakengard Let's Play. And whined to myself about not doing anything productive. Not that that inspired me.

I bought FF12 as soon as it came out and I still haven't beaten it. I loaned it to a friend because it pissed me off and I got it back a few months ago. It spends a lot of time in a drawer because I get mad at it.

I had FF12... It was a great game, but I kept getting bored because the hunts were getting too darn easy! (well, maybe it was 'cos I kept using that 'reverse effect' accessory, can't remember what it was called... and with the gambits, I had everyone spamming every single buff razz ) It ended up being - get mark - find how to get to it - spend about an hour getting to it - spend 5 mins kicking its a** - go back - get items that I would never use anyway.... and it was uber hard at the beginning, crazy! lol
And 1-1 in the England-USA game, back luck for the English goalie... I'll take it with a pinch of salt wink

This is my FF12 experience so far:
Step One: Attempt to get to the area that I'm supposed to be in. Get annihilated.
Step Two: Check out the board and the guild to see if there are any new hunts. Accept them. Go get my a** kicked.
Step Three: Spend up to 6 hours fighting, stealing, and selling loot to get the most powerful weapons and armor in the area and all of the spells available.
Step Four: Attempt to vanquish some marks. Succeed about 70% of the time....the other 30% WTF!! They killed Balthier, Ashe, and Fran!! Then AHHH! What happened to Bach, and Penelo...ruuun Vaan!!!! *Insert narrow escape*
Step Five: Get to next area. Barely kill the boss.
Back to step one
It's probably because I'm usually 7 to 10 levels below where I should be because I hate leveling up.

When I first played FF12, I thought I could just get rid of everything with Quickenings... it didn't work very well...
I remember the White Mousse hunt - that thing was the biggest pain in the a** ever! I remember trying to blind it only to have it miss about 20 times... ugh!

i love FFXII, i currently have ALL the espers, i beat ALL the marks, and i have some pretty kick a** weapons. im just waiting for the ultimate hunt now. the one with MILLIONS of HP

What? But, but how? D:
And that Mousse. God I hated him. Decided to not use status effects on him and just buffed myself up with Shell and stuff. I don't remember if poison affected that poop head but I think I got some health draining thing to work... but I could be wrong. It was awhile ago.
