From the outside through the glass windows you could see the row of tables and chairs decorating the floor like brown islands in a sea of white tiles. When walking in your instantly taken over by the warm fresh brewed smell of coffee and the sweet auroma of freshly baked beagel's. The Waitresses were always very iinviting and charming yet professional in the same sense as they took order and kept the place running smoothly.

Riku came to a lil shop on the corner not that far from the school grounds. He had never been here before so he decided to give it a try.
"This looks like an ok place, I wonder if there coffee is any good?"
Riku loved coffee, it was one of the only thing that got him up in the mornings.
He walked in and sat down at a lil table in the far corner of the shop by the window. He looked over at the waiter.
"I'll have 1 cup of Joe and a English muffin plz."
He said as he looked out the window while he waited

Scarlet Rose
Scarlet walks in holding an armful of notebooks. She goes to an empty table and sets all of her books down. She then sits down and waits for a waiter. When one comes over she says "Can a get a large cup of black coffee?" The waiter disappears and returns with her order. She smiles and says her thanks. Once the waiter is gone, she pulls out a vial that was hidden in her shirt. She opens up the vial of blood and drops a few blood droplets into her coffee. Then she closes the vial and returns it to it's hiding place. She opens a notebook and begins to write, while sipping on her coffee.

Riku sat in the corner of the shop when Scarlet walked in. He knew her from the school teachers meeting. She was very beautiful but also very out of his league. He saw her order some coffee and take a seat at one of the tables. When her coffee came he smelled blood and saw what she was doing. He finished his muffin and walked over to her with his coffee in hand.
"Now you know your not supposed to be using blood outside of your own home, Scarlet."
He said the words loudly to get her attention.
"Now what do you think the Headmaster would think if he found out about this?"

Scarlet nearly jumps at Riku's words. "I'm sorry... I couldn't help it.." she replies, looking up.
"I'm not allowed to hunt, so what else am I to do?" she asks.

Riku didn't like to see other teachers being irresponsible. He decided to let her in on a secret of his. He felt like being nice for a min. Even if it wasn't really a secret and more of common sense.
"Well you could always go home on your lunch break and do it there than come back. That's what I do anyway."
He said as he took a seat at the same table. Even if he didn't admit it, he always liked seeing her face.

She smiles. "I suppose that works," she replies, still unsure.
"Are you ready for school to start?" she asks him curiously.

Riku looks at Scarlet with a look of remorse in his eyes.
"Not really, I could go a few more days without students walking into my office because they did something stupid."
He looks out the window as the wind blows the tree peacefully.

Scarlet laughs a bit. "I guess I understand that," she replies with a smile.

Riku smiled as Scarlet laughed. Even if he wasn't a people person he was never bored talking to her.
"So what about you? You ready for it?"
He said as he rested his chin on his hand tilting his head slightly.

Scarlet smiles. "Of course! I love teaching!" she replies cheerfully. Then she takes another sip of her coffee.

"That's only because you don't have to deal with the students the way I have to."

She nods. "That's true. Very true," she replies. "And you didn't get to see them how I do," she adds. Most of her students were good and polite.

Riku had a distasteful look in his eyes when she said this. He knew how the students were. Of course they'd act nice in front of her, she was beautiful. She didn't know what really went on.
"Well, I think I'm gona go back to the office. I still have alot of paper work left to do and my lunch break is over."
He said as he got up from the table. He walked over to the cashier and paid for his coffee and muffin. On the way out he looked at Scarlet again.
"Just keep your eyes on there, that's all I'm saying, and keep an extra one on a student named Rou, he's in one of your classes this year and he's not your normal student."
And with that Riku left the coffee shop.
(exit back to office)

Scarlet nods. "Bye!" she calls before he leaves. She sighs and sips her coffee again. She did know what was going on. They were kids that normally got no attention and had rather horrid pasts. She sighs and pays for her coffee. Then she gathers up her books and binders. She makes her way back to her classroom.
