Just wanted to give a heads up.
Also:
Are there any other Harry Potter fans here? I personally have been totally into Harry Potter since the second/third book came out. Of course, it took me a few months to get past the first chapter of the first book.. (Don't ask me why -- I don't know; I had an aversion to it initially.) I'm also fairly fond of the movies, mainly because I allowed myself to accept that they were two different pieces of work that couldn't be compared fairly.
Just wanted to check, though, if there are any other avid fans here. xP

I watch the movies, but I haven't read any of the books. xd

Yes yes yes - really a fan of books and films too. Though I started from the books and sometimes still lack something in the films. That is probably for every book fan as we want every detail included into it.

Expose yourself to your deepest fear... I LOVE the books--it's an obsession.
The movies are okay. The last few have been so far from the books that they've pissed me off.

I love the books...most of them anyway. I didn't like some of the things that happened in the last book...some of my favorite characters got a raw deal.
As to the movies, I like them too; er...mostly. I understand that a lot of things have to be cut out to keep a movie to a reasonable length, but only if the important parts of the story don't suffer. With the third movie especially, I felt that far too much important stuff was left out.
And some extra stuff has been added to the more recent ones. I'd rather they'd have used stuff from the book that ultimately didn't make it in.
