Roxy's orchard takes up a large pice of land, filled with many varities of fruits that are in season. It looks very well taken care of. Her house is just opposite of it. It's not the nicest, but not the worst of all houses either. It's a light blue, fairly small house. The inside is small, but cosy, filled with lots of various books and confertable furnature.

Roxy wiped her forehead as she scanned the orchard. She had just finished planting all of the grape seeds and was quite tired. Wiping her hands on her apron, she smiled at her days work. All the newly planted trees and plants looked bare, but she knew that once things had started to grow the orchard would be beautiful. She then stood up and started towards the tailors shoppe to visit her cousin.

Tay finished wrapping the bandage around her bleeding finger and started to carefully put away her pins and needles back into their rightful cases, and closed the lid to her sewing kit. She then lifted the light blue flowy sundress up from her table at the back of the shoppe. As she lifted it, she smiled as she saw her cousin coming back in from the orchard.

Roxy walked into the shoppe and waved to Tay. "Hey! Wow, I really like that dress!" She said, admiring the careful stitching of the various patterns and shades of blue in it. She looked down at her still dirty hands, and then quickly tried to wipe of the smudged dirt onto her pants.

PUtting down the dress, Tay smiled at Roxy and said, "Well I'm glad that you like it! Just wait for a second while I wrap this." Grabbing a box from one of her drawers, she placed the dress carefully into it and wrapped it quickly, but nicely in blue wrapping paper. "It's a gift for someone, if you hadn't figured that out already." She said laughing. She finished tieing the ribbon on it and handed it to Roxy. "For you." She smiled, and wiped her hand on her apron.

Taking the box that conatined the pretty blue dress, Roxy grinned at Tay. "Thanks so much!" she said, placing it carefully by the door so that she wouldn't forget it when she went back outside. "I'll wear it to the town gathering!" Sh epulled her long blonde hair out of her face, and into a loose ponytail, and turned back to her cousin. "Speaking of the gathering, we need to start planning for that!"

Sitting down on her chair, she sighed and picked at a few loose threads that were hanging off of the edge of her leaf-printed apron. "What should we do exactly? We're still new to this farming thing, and we don't exactly know how to run a whole town yet..." Being the worry-wart that she was, she wondered constantly about the best way to do this thing. "I mean, should we just hand out a paper to each person individually? So we can ensure that they know about it?" She sighed and let go of the apron. "We have many people now, alot more than I expected. But we can worry about that later, I'm hungry!" She stood up, and took off the apron. And the walked out of the shop with her cousin.

Joshua Brook walked into the tailor shop. His jeans were dirty with mud and he looked around embarrisingly and the chimes from the door were ringing as he stepped through. He found two girls that looked about his age. "Excuse me Ma'am's." he said tipping his hat at Roxy, "You must be Miss Taylor Walker. Well, I heard you're really good at makin' stuff and I don't really have anythin' decent, an' well, i hope it's not too much to ask, but, could you make me a tie." he said with his hands behind his back, rocking back and forth nervously.

Taylor smiled at the new boy, "Is that so? Well, of course I would be able to. It's very nice to meet you. And your name is?" She pulled out her sewing kit and said, "Is there any particular colour you would like the tie to be? I have many, so you can chose whicever colours you would like, however many you would like." She set the kit of string on her table and opened it, revealed 4 rows of every color imaginable. "Take your pick."

"Thanks, would I be able to pay you in...something other than money. I'm a little...short of change right now because I just moved out on my own. I'm Joshua Brook, or JB." he said quietly. "And I'm not good at the whole...matching thing. I have a dark brown coat and a blue collared shirt. So whatever matches with those two." he answered back. She seemed really nice, but he wasn't sure he was making a very good impression in this town. The poor farmer boy that can't even pay for a tie, that's pretty pathetic, but these next few weeks are going to be pretty tiresome and embarrassing for Joshua if he's going to tough through it.

Tay smiled, "That's alright, this one's free then. It's hard to start all over in a new place, so don't worry about it." She grabbed a brown stiring from the kit and showed it to him. "I suggest we go for a light brown to match the coat, and some blue accents for the shirt." It felt good to help someone out, and besides, he was nice. And cute. "Do you have a farm or anything yet?"

Joshua Brook smiled and reached into his pocket. "Yes! I have my own farm. I moved out from my parents' and decided to start all by myself, a new beginning." he said proudly, for being so independant. "Here, take this! It's the least I could do." he said as he gave her a few stamps from his pocket. He looked down at them and realized how lame that looked, giving a girl some stamps. He said, "Sorry, that's all I've got. I understand if their stupid and you don't want them..." he said trailing off, blushing from being unbelievably embarassed. "Thanks for making my tie!" Brook said.

Tay smiled and laughed, picking up the stamps. "These might actually come in handy, thank you!" She placed them carefully into the pocket of her apron. "Well let me say that we're glad your here, it's always nice to meet new people, especially in a beautiful place like this." She nodded and put the spools of thread beside her sewing machine on a smaller table beside her. "Give me maybe, a day or two and I'll come bring this to you. How does that sound?"
