Ichigo is now a old man, yet looks like he did when he was fifteen. He has gained immortality after being sealed away by Aizen in the final fight. He went to hell, not out of sin, but for Aizen to feel like he still held some power in his dying breath. He is now a battle torn tyrant with an ultimate sense of Justice.
He has broken out of hell after mercilessly killing the one in charge, Satan, the most powerful oni in existence. After this, he knowing that everyone he knows and loves is dead shares a similar but at the same time completely different wish as Aizen.. to become the one and only God. His centuries of fighting in hell let him walk through the Seireitei untouched, without the key into the soul kings dimension, break into his dimension, kill everyone in squad zero and finally kill the soul king (with a considerably long battle that left a large scar on Ichigo's face.) and become God in his perspective.
With this Ichigo's corrupt sense of justice makes him pass strict laws. Murder of any kind is illegal, be that a human, shinigami, or hollow. Hueco Mundo has been closed down and all the Espada are in hiding while the weaker ones are being killed in mass genocide by quincy's that Ichigo has forced in. The Gotei Elite has been disbanded and the only military force is Ichigo and anyone he deems loyal as a soldier. Most Captains have been given death sentences and are also in hiding, the lucky few are either living comfortable, oppressed lives, or hiding. Everyone in every race must band together to stop this unstoppable God King.
