 So, a while back when I first started learning Russian, I decided a quick way to help me pick up vocab would be to watch Russian movies with subtitles, because I learned a lot of Japanese that way.
When looking for a site to use, I came across Digital Cake. It has a lot of subbed Russian movies and shows, some of which I enjoyed. [Even though all I really watched was the dubbed Avatar episodes and a couple of fairy tales...]
Do you use movies to help you learn? Do you know of any other sites with subbed movies in foreign languages, Russian or otherwise?

In class one day, we watched Masha and the Bear. Hilarious. It should be on the site, I just looked it up.
I did find that it helped a bit since the stories were simple. Thanks for posting the site! I wish I knew of some sites, but if I find any, I know where to post. 3nodding

I try to watch lots of movies in German and Spanish, but I've never found a website with them ;___;
Also I hate Chinese movies (they suck) so I really have no drive to learn through culture

Thanks to this post I've decided to check for any Arabic TV stations on line, and it turns out LBC has a website with streaming programs! surprised I missed this those past 8 months of having no television.

Korean, Japanese, Chinese/Taiwanese and Hong Kong dramas and movies can be found at My Soju. They are subbed, but it's still good resource.
