I awoke in the morning with the smell of newly made coffee in the air. Every night before I go to sleep I preset the coffee maker. It was 5 in the morning when I looked at my alarm clock. I sat up in bed to were I could swing my legs over the side.

"Ooo... I shouldn't have drank so much last night."

I said as I held my head in my hands while leaning over the side of the bed. The night before I went out drinking with my friend Kyuusei-kun to celebrate the last day of our summer vacation. Starting today we were teacher and student again, and yes my best friend is a student at the school I work at. Before taking the teachers position I worked for the government ten years ago trying to conceal the people like Kyuusei from the world, but once world powers even considered just eliminating him and people like him I quit. Now I'm a disciplinary dean at the local high school and the world is starting to accept thing again and I wouldn't have it anyother way.

I finally got out of bed and started to get dressed. I wore a white button up shirt with a black tie and black slacks. This was the teachers uniform I decided to wear sense I started working at the school. I went down stairs and got a cup of coffee and was straight out the door.

"I've never been late for work before and I'm not going to start now."
