This universe is based in an alternate future where the city of Tangent Tropolis has evolved into the hightech society of the future. All of our current heroes are 20 years older and have moved on with their lives. In this universe you can add new heroes or stay with your old ones. Current characters may have new abilities and skills. Since this universe may seem a bit much I'll be adding a seperate thread where you can post your updated or new character. Here's the link.

Rose still dealt with her inner demons, but was now a writer and wrote 4 best selling books thanks to the inner voice in her head. Rose was on her way out of her house, she pressed her thumb against the scanner which was a lock and the door unlocked allowing her to get out and close behind her.
Rose was on her way to a publisher, who showed interest in her new book, about a man named wilder. Writing was her way of letting things go.
"hey rose!" she heard someone call her name out, she almost dropped her bag which she was holding loosly. She looked around and noticed it was that girl she met a week ago, she was walking towards rose. "have you thought about it?" she asked rose. Rose pushed the glasses farther up the bridge of her nose, "i did"
"and?"
The girl's name was jesse, and she was reffering to a modeling job she offered to rose.
"sure why not,might promote my books too right?"
"right! ill talk to you later rosey" she said running away.
Rose continued walking down to the publisher, looking up at the floating adversting boards in the air
'you sure have changed' said the voice.
"i guess I have"
'you dont have the lust to kill?"
'oh i do, but i can control it, just like my telepath"

Wilder or Fury is what he was called these days was tracking down the mayor. Earl Grey was previously a crimelord but due to several bribes and a few hidden murders Grey had managed to work his way up the political ladder. After the election Fury had kept a weary eye on the man, waiting for one false move. After being connected to the recent drug scandal Fury had all the proof he needed. Fury had tracked down Mayor Grey to an underground base. There Grey's men were waiting for him. Fury didn't waste much time killing the men. As the bullets bounced off harmlessly Fury crushed a few skulls, ripped out some hearts and even sliced a person in half. Fury left no survivors after the few seconds of killing. Finally he found the mayor huddled in a corner, from the smell of things the mayor had excremented on himself during the massacre.
With a weezing snot filled face the mayor spoke, "Pleeeaze don't kill me...I'll p..pay you money..I..I'll do anything but...please don't kill me!!"
The man was pathetic, Fury glared at Grey coldly as he showed no mercy as he ripped out the man's throat. He then flew out of the base flying threw the building itself. After reaching outside Fury extends his wing blade and slices the building in half. If anyone had any questions then theyed probably pin this on a foundation problem. Besides everyone was too scared of him to say that these murders were anything other than an accident.

Empath walked down the road, her eyes scanning around her wearily as she walked. she could feel the other side of her coming out and stopped walking cutting down an alleyway she leant against the wall her eyes closed as she breathed in slowly to calm herself down. what made it change? my other side hasn't come out since they used to make me eliminate people. she thought, making sure to keep her thoughts blocked in case there were more telepaths nearby.

Dark Star looked at the people in the street below. He pulled down his mask, and wiped the sweat on his head. Then he put it back as he saw a man fly past. Lance somehow recognized him. He looks familiar, Lance thought. He then jumped off the building, and flew towards the being.

Fury stopped in mid air as he saw the figure. At first he was prepared to kill the person in one quick blow but then he recognized the smell.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't our resident hero Lance. I have more work to do around the city so make it quick."

Empath rose into the air slowly using her powers to control her movement as she did. As she flew forwards she saw two male figures in the distance, both of them seemed familiar to her. It was only when she got colser that she realised one of them was lance someone she had been forced to attack when her mind was under someone else's control ten years ago.

Maria walked down the sidewalk,humming to herself.
She carried some groceries from the food market.
"What the-?"
People began to run towards her. Maria ran into a alleyway and watched The group of people run past her.
"That's not something you see everyday..." She noticed half of a building on the street.
"Neither is that!"
She ran to the broken building.
"Who could do such a thing?...Must of had plenty of power...."
She glanced up.
"Really....?"
She said in a annoyed voice.

Lance looked the man down. "You look different," he finally said. "Where'd the wings go?" he smiled. "Well, then again, I've changed too." He then waved, and then turned around. Then, as if remembering something, he turned around. "Whats your new name, huh?"

The names Fury, in Greek mythology Furies were creatures that would punish all crime. They would strike the offenders with madness and never stopped following criminals until they were dead. They were also the guardians of the law when the state had not yet intervened or did not exist, or when the crime was a crime of ethics and not actual law . From them the words furious and fury were created. Thus what I am called and aspired to do.

Rose was just about to open the door to her publisher as she noticed people freaking out, she couldnt understand why, she went in the building anyways. "im sorry he's not in right now" the secretary said to rose. "ill come back later then"
She excited the building, people still freaking out. she was tempted to investigate but fought the urge. Till she looked to the sky and saw him, wilder. He looked so different.
"well look who it is" the voice in her head said
"indeed" i answered out loud.
I spread a thin mental line, "what if its not him" she said reading him, but not invading his privacy.

Lance nodded. "Okay, well," then he spotted a man dragging a woman into an alley. He waved to Fury, then flew to the scene of the crime. He landed in front of the guy, and smiled. "This is wrong for three reasons. One: she's too young. Two: she doesn't want it to happen. Three: I saw it." Then he launched a punch at the man's face, felling him. Than Lance smiled and held the guys arms. Then he threw him into a thrash bin, and sealed it with a beam. Then he turned and walked away.
