Keep an eye on your shoulder against the wind of your walk
An eye ahead to know who doth talk;

So I knitted up a baby blanket with the Bernat's Baby Coordinates. It's a light yarn.
I have a pattern for some booties but it calls for a bulky yarn and I don't wish to make the booties with what it says. Gauge for normal says:
13 sts and 22 rows = 4" garter st on size 8 needles
12 sts and 20 rows = 4" garter st on size 9 needles
11 18 7
10 16 6
9 14 5
8 12 4
7 10 3
6 8 2
5 6 1

In the bold, it's just a guess, but would that be right? With what the normal thing says?

Or if some one has an easier way to tell if my light yarn can still make effective booties?
Mayhaps a design for them in a light yarn from the start?

I dunno..
