Marei lesurely stretched. Life was finally returning to Aelaer. It was nice to see but she still missed Vaedi, her childhood friend. She wondered if either of their feelings had changed, or if things would be as awkward as they had been the last time they had met. She slowly rose to her feet and looked around. She thought she had seen Bella earlier but couldn't be sure. But if it had been then surely Vaedi would make his presence known as well...wouldn't he?
