Wouldn't it be nice if you could have the option of paying maybe a bit more gold in the salon to actually LEARN how to do a certain hair style since we all love changing our hair so much and it can get rather expensive over time?

This is an old/ongoing issue. Argument is that we should get wigs or a similar avatar item (easy solution) or be allowed to change to that hairstyle for free from then on (slightly more technically complex solution). Counter argument is that IRL, you (generally) have to pay to change styles. Your point on learning how to DIY is valid, but not necessarily realistic either (again, compare IRL). I think there are several threads either here or in the feedback boards, you can do a search.

Yeah, I figured this was an old thing; just got bored last night and thought I'd bring it up again. And the learning how to change your own styling isn't so overly unrealistic compared to IRL. Plenty of my friends learn how to do styling on their own as opposed to paying someone to do it for them.

I think it would be cool to change your hairstyle for free after buying it for the first time or learning to DIY. Who cares if it's not true to life? This is a website that caters to what you wouldn't be able to do IRL.

An easy way to get through this is turn it into something you could do, getting instructions on making your own hair. I wouldn't mind if you even had to use INK to do it, as long as I could continue doing.
