Hello world!
The name's Impy, though you can also call me Megg! As per usual, I can't seem to get enough roleplaying in my life. So, I'm on a never-ending quest to find more literate, roleplaying partners!
That's where you [hopefully] come in!
I'm usually online almost every day; I'll usually log on to check my RPs in the morning, and then come on again after school, so long as I'm not working. My times online are 6:30am - 7:00am in the morning, 3:30pm - 11:00pm when I'm not working, and usually 9:00pm - 11:00pm when I am working. These times will most likely change when summer comes around. Note that I'm in the Eastern timezone.

Here's What I Like!
I'm a big fan of modern-fantasy based roleplays. Basically, I like anything where I have the option of using non-human characters - perhaps this sounds a little strange, but I love fiction, so maybe its not.
I also love boyxboy. However, if you really want to get my attention, then giving me a roleplay with both gay and hetero couples - I love the mix. I'm actually quite fond of any type of romantic roleplay; I just happen to find shounen-ai especially adorable.
Please note that I DO enjoy plot along with my romance. Character development is KEY, people! You can't have a good story without, well, a story! Angst is also most enjoyable, though please don't go over the top with it. There's a difference between understandable issues that a character may have and a straight-up Mary or Gary-Sue. They're irritating, and no one likes them.
So, on my list of things I like, we have:
Faeries: Possibly some of my favorite mythology has to do with the fair folk. They're fun, they're crazy, and they work in many different settings, whether they be medieval or modern. If you have any questions on how they work, feel free to ask me, or even Lolly; we're quite well-versed in the ways of the fey.
Implings: An odd little race that Lolly and I came up with a few years back. I absolutely adore using impling characters. In fact, my favorite original character thus far has to be an impling boy that I've named Shade. Give me something where I can use him or any other impling character, and I'll probably be at your mercy.
BoyxBoys: This is self-explanatory, really. Schoolgirl outfits are awesome.
Original Ideas: Do you have a plot that you'd like to throw out at me? Well, tell me about it! Maybe I'll like it too! Don't be shy about making suggestions to me!
I'll add more to this list as I think of things~
Now, on with some of my plot ideas!

Paradox Laboratories
~*~
The Paradox Laboratory was known by most of the world as one of the most successful medical research facilities on the planet. It was praised for the vaccines it developed, which were used all over the globe, as well as its findings, which helped the world's health organization become one step closer to finding cures to some of the most crippling diseases on Earth. Yes, the facility was highly looked upon and was a beacon of hope for many people who were hoping to someday live a in a world without such suffering.
What most people didn't know was that the lab didn't only work on medicines; in fact, there was a secret hidden deep within the middle of the facility. Here, there were no windows to let sunlight in - the only illumination in this place was artificial. The walls in all the rooms and hallways were white and no decorations hung on any of them. It was here in this bare place that the real work was done. It was here that a weapon was being made, though it was unlike any other that had ever been invented. This was because what was being made in this place was no mere object.
It was alive.
~*~
The general idea for this plot has two different scenarios.
The first would involve an adolescent experiment who's quite distrustful towards most of the people in the facility; sometimes, he can be downright rebellious. In the same token though, he's never seen the outside world and is curious about it. In this storyline, a researcher or teacher could gain the trust of the experiment, forging a bond between them; this can be either romantic, or remain as a simple friendship.
The other idea would be that the experiment is still a child. He's only recently been 'born' and despite being the age of four physically, he's mentally a baby. This time, the teacher or researcher would become a more parental figure towards the experiment, despite the fact that the boy is treated poorly by most of the other staff members.

My Life Would Suck Without You
Song can be found here.
I've had this song stuck in my head for a while. Pretty sure that any idea around this song would have to be some form of romance. xd If you can think of something else though, feel free to throw it out there.

Through the Looking Glass
~*~
High school is complicated enough as it is. You know what would make it even harder though? Not being human. In fact, your entire family isn't really human. You hide yourself every day with magic though, so no one notices; most of the other kids just know you as the student with the weird colored eyes, or the sharp teeth - even magic has its limits, after all.
You've heard that there are some people who can see through the magic, but you've never met anyone like that. Not like you ever will either...right?
~*~
So in this, one person would have to be a human, and the other would have to be a non-human. I'd prefer to be the non-human, honestly.

Prisoner
Song here and here.
I've taken a liking to these songs recently. They're so...sad. >: I'd like to do something based around it, though maybe without the characters dying.
