((I lost my notes on Unnameable... it makes me sad, but I guess it's time to start anew.))

xxxWhere is she going? Kalvin asked himself, leaping over the outstretched vines of this labyrinth of plants. He was chasing a girl, watching her weave about through the maze effortlessly, yet he always caught a glimpse of her turning a corner when he rounded after her. It was obvious that she was leading him somewhere, but he was more interested in who she was than where he was going. Something about her was familiar, but he was sure he had never seen her outside of this garden. Another corner was turned just to see the girl slip out of sight behind the next.

"Hey!" Kalvin called out to her, it wasn't his first time doing so and as expected, no response was shown. He decided to pick up the pace again, hoping to catch her this time. He turned the corner as she had done moments before, this time she was waiting before she sprinted off around the bend. Now he knew she was leading him. Kalvin put everything he had into his legs, he had to catch her, he just had to.

To his satisfaction, he was catching up. Even though Kalvin couldn't see her, he felt the distance between them closing. When he curved after her, she was within arms reach, and reach he did, able to barely grip her shoulder. The movement itself turned her face into his, catching her eyes within his own. Her eyes, a simple shade, but within them a sparkle.

Before he could examine anything else, Kalvin woke up. With a heavy sigh, he looked over to his alarm clock. One more hour before he had to be awake. This wasn't the first time he's dreamt this dream, but everytime he sees her eyes, he wakes. It was getting beyond frustrating. Thinking back to the sparkle in her eyes, he couldn't remember what exactly he saw, irritating him even more.

"Who the hell is she?" He muttered to himself. ((to be continued))

Tossing of the rest of his blankets, Kalvin turn his feet over the bed and leaned over them, looking at the floor. Bringing up his hands, his small frail hands, he began to remember who he was again. Sick. That's what he was, ever since he was born. Osteogenesis Imperfecta, the brittle bone disease, as they called it. To him, it was hell. How else could someone describe fracturing a rib from a simple cough?

Carefully standing up, he slowly walked over to his motorized wheelchair. Kalvin looked at it hard with his cold blue eyes, hating it's very existance. It was a crutch he was forced to lean against, destroying his pride everyday it is used. Sitting in it as carefully as he stood, he was careful not to grit his teeth in disgust. ((to be continued))
