Anyone else wonder how America only suddenly has to wear glasses? Is he too blind by trying to be the hero he needs them to actually see real-world solutions??

Eli says:
Wow, Memorial Day!~ I was wondering if anyone actually had a relative, American or not, that is or was in the army that they would like to mention? Personally, I really wanna remember my grandfather, who was in the army during World War II. He's currently resting happily in a cupboard in Arlington Cemetary. If anyone has a relative that was cremated, you know what I mean. xD They aren't buried, they're put in, like, a marble slot in a wall. It's actually really pretty. Anyways, happy Memorial Day, and we salute you troops! *salutes* ~Prussian Blue

He doesn't need them. He's just trying to be cool like Clark Kent- 'cause he is a hero, after all. And hero's have to hide their identity somehow, and if Kent could do it, why can't Alfred? 8D

@ Glowsticks~ most of my grandparents and french relatives played a role in World War II.
@Grey~The glasses represent Texas. So i'm guessing he took them from Mexico.

(Vertix, I'm the only one who got that!) I know. I... I think Russia (sometimes Canada) is good for him. It makes him feel like he isn't some cocky idiot and sort of cool. I love Cold War fics! And Canada always tries so hard... It's nice. Also, the "You used to be so big" line in the revolutionary war episode was awesome but...
I just won't EVER like the country in real life anymore... stare

Happy Memorial Daaay~! (latelatelaate)
I know that a few of my grandparents and other relatives who had served in World War II and the Vietnam War. My uncle is in the military today, along with some friends who I consider family.
On the Filipino side of my family, though, my great grandfather had served in the army in the Phillipines during World War II. The Japanese had decapitated him, and at this time, my great grandmother was pregnant with my grandmother...it's sad when I think about it.
America isn't exactly one of my favorite characters, but he makes me laugh when he's annoying. Or when he fails at something.
Pff, in real life, I never really was that patriotic about my country, though can't say I dislike the America that much, because I know that there are worst places and situations in the world to live in at the moment...
