In all honesty, you just have to suck it up.
Once you find somebody worth putting in the effort for, you'll know, and hopefully they'll reciprocate your affection.
But that's not always the case.
Which is why you need to harden yourself to disappointment.
Life is disappointing, and you just have to run with it.

Like Amish said. You have to run with it Pocky. I know it's hard trying to keep going when you get shot down, my girlfriend of two years dumped me one or two months ago, and I'm begrudginly trying to get over her. I know I'll love her, but she won't take me back no matter how much I ask her to. Same applies to you Pocky, you just have to try and stand up, dust off your jeans and say 'let's try this again'

How old are you?
You've got to sit down and realize that you should take everything as it comes right now. You're not meant to settle down, but that doesn't mean giving up. Enjoy those short relationships while you have them, and yes, it'll hurt when it's over... but remember that you had fun. That you were happy.
And keep going. 3nodding Cause it's not the end of the world.

I know how that feels, but hang in there Paco someone will come and give you that affection you crave so much, don't rush, and like Pani said enjoy these short relationships.
