Anyways, I was just wondering how you guys all found Fruits Basket. For me, I heard it from my friend like two years ago, and I only recently found volume 2 recently in the library. (I'm too cheap to actually buy books sweatdrop ) Anyways, after hearing from the raving reveiw from my friend, I decided to give it a go, and now I'm addicted!
How about you? How did you find Furuba?

it was about two years ago when my cousin showed me the last dvd of fruits basket 3nodding i didn't understand it at first, and i thought momiji was a girl sweatdrop then when i went to the bookstore, i saw the first and second books there and i was like surprised and i started reading it. 3nodding then when the third book came out, i was like "omg i need to read that book" but when the FOURTH book came out, i was like "OMG IAN YOUR FRIEND (that has 200+manga) HAS THAT BOOK!!!!! surprised surprised mrgreen COULD YOU BORROW IT FROM HER SO THAT I CAN READ IT scream scream !!!" and so he did, but he made me read it AFTER i finished my homework stare . but after that, whenever i saw it out on the shelves i read it, and i was like, "this is such a cool series" but for some reason, i only became "omg i have to read that book!!! when it comes out!!!" after the eight book. (in april three days before my birthday) then i became all obsessed with it 3nodding that is my story, and starting today, i am the proud owner of the books #8-12 4laugh mwee! i think i will only get other series as soon as i finish this one. and that is my story whee

My friend introduced me to the manga. I liked it immdiately since there were little hints that Kyo and Yuki liked Tohru. I'm a hopeless romantic. lol

I found out about Fruits Basket last year from a close friend of mine. I had just started getting into manga and such and she recommended the series. She even had some of the books, so I borrowed them. So I read them... and read them... and read them... until finally I felt guilty about hogging her books for so long. I gave them back... cry . Then a few months later, another friend of mine had the first season box set and I begged him to let me borrow it. I had to wait behind 3 other people to get it though. They took forever to watch it. When I got it, I watched it over the weekend and loved it! It helped me make better sence to the manga. I think the manga is better though. It goes farther than the anime does. But now I have a whole bunch of pictures, wallpapers, and the likes. Fruits Basket rules!
