go online and learn how to sew. it's free and can be found on google. go to your local salvation army, and find sheets, curtains, old lace dresses, i even found some GREAT mary janes at goodwill. once you do this, just send me a pm. i'll tell you what to do; i have a very simple way to make a skirt. take a big rectangle and cut it in half. then cut the halves into halves. you should have four pieces. now, measure your waist. round it up to something that could be divided by four (or just divide that... rounding makes it easier, unless you would rather just follow option two.), and divide it. say your waist was 48 inches. then cut each fourth so the top (the end you want around your waist) is twelve inches (IF your waist is 48, just change this to whatever a fourth of your waist was) with a gentle slope towards the hem. sew all the fourths together again, and the waist should fit. add a waist of elastic or ribbon or whatever if you want to. i sewed on a thick ribbon, which then tied in the back with the excess that wasnt sewn to the fabric. the fabric had buttons down the back.
