The names for the first two Legendaries revealed for the fifth generation are now known. They are Reshiram and Zekrom.

Please see this page for good pictures of these two black and white legendaries. They are pretty awesome to view.

Also the release dates have been confirmed as Fall 2010 for Japan and Spring 2011 for the US concerning the games.

It has been confirmed that both Legendaries are part Dragon, but it is not yet known what their other types might be. (Captain's note: I can hazard a guess on the black one, maybe?)

It has also been revealed that the setting of the new Black and White games will have differences greater than just the available pokemon in each game. The extent of those differences is also not yet known.
