I've saw Koreans, Japanese introducing their languages here so I would like to introduce mine to the world. This language is called Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Melayu (You can use both but most people say Bahasa Melayu)

So, this is kinda the main language in my country. The minority is Kadazan and Sarawak ones (Really sorry I don't know those language..) These are a few basic ones:

Good day=Selamat Sejahtera
Good Morning= Selamat Pagi
Good night= Selamat Malam
Good Evening=Selamat Petang
Good Afternoon= Selamat Tengah Hari
How are you?= Apa Khabar?
My name is= Nama saya ialah [Insert you name here]
I=Saya
You=Awak
We= Kita/ Kami (I'll explain this later.)
Goodbye= Selamat Jalan (I think, I forgot, everyone says bye nowadays..So, pls correct me if I'm wrong..)

Hmm.. If you want to know more just reply at this post or PM me..

OK...now for our class today,we will learn about numbers xp But hey,that's really help...Now get this..
1= Satu ( sah-too)
2=Dua (duo-wha)
3=Tiga (tee-gha)
4=Empat ( amh-phat)
5=Lima (lee-mah)
6=Enam ( e-namn)
7=Tujuh ( too-joh)
8=Lapan ( lah-pahn)
9=Sembilan (sem-bee-lahn-d)
10=Sepuluh( se-poo-loh)

.....kay,after that,the number will started from 11 (sebelas[ seh-beh-lass]) until the number 9,as the 10 is represented by se @ satu(1)....and the numbers are called before the word belas( beh-lass),[like dua belas=12....] and that's it 4 today.any questions?

i can help u to understand...
word 'kamu' and 'awak' is the same meaning..
'kamu' 'awak' = you
this word is a polite way when u wanna talk with someone u dunno him/her...
word 'saya' and 'aku' also same meaning....
'saya' 'aku' = I / me
but, there is a different of using of this word...
using 'saya' is a polite way to use when u wanna talk with someone u didn't know...
while, 'aku' always use when u already know that person (but, seriously.. sweatdrop dont use it when talking with ur parent even u guys know them) use it when u r with ur frenz...

4laugh anyway, my parent village also in Pulau Pinang...i luv to go to Pulau Pinang... 4laugh

well, 'anda' is the most polite word when u with ppl u dunno...but, usually...this word 'anda' always use in asking question (like doing homework questions)...so, in Malaysia, we always use it in asking...some use it by in conversation (like interviewing someone)

Example (conversation) :

Usagi : Can I interview you miss?
Usagi : Boleh saya temu duga dengan anda cik?

Example (homework)

From your observation, give one reason....
Daripada pemerhatian anda, berikan satu sebab...

that is how we use word 'anda'
