I found the tab for 'animated' before the announcement came out. Out of curiosity I went to the market place to see what was going to be animated. There were the three items that are in the announcement from the cash shop. In the fine print it states that
*This item will be animated until June 30th. At that time it will become a normal still item*.
I haven't gone to the cash shop to see if they warn you before you buy that these items will only 'work' for a month, but I think it's a gip! I only recently noticed that the Aquarium Creepy Phonograph no longer plays music nor changes "fish" to skeletons. I feel cheated. Imagine putting out hundreds of Gaia gold for an "animated" item on the 29th of June.
If you buy something that's animated, it should stay animated!

So, I got the email that said the animated items would be leaving the cash shop on June 3rd. No mention of the fact that they become "still items" on June 30th.
Next I went to the cash shop. Yes it does mention that the items become "still items" on June 30th, but I don't think that what they have is enough warning.
If you buy something that's animated, it should stay animated!
