Really it is spelled as Sesshoumaru. You can even look it up

That depends. In Japan, it's "Sesshoumaru" and in America, it's "Sesshomaru".

Speaking of Sesshomaru (that's how I spell it) I went to this anime convention today and I god a wooden hand made icon with his beautiful face on it blaugh

Since it's it is a Japanese series if you want to be technically correct it's Sesshoumaru. Americans change the spelling of his name, but that doesn't make it correct.
