Well. Now that we've experimented a little bit. I think its safe to say that we'll be dividing the class year into three semesters with a total of six quarters.

First Semester ranges from September 1st through December 31st.
Second Semester goes from January 1st through June 13th.
Third Semester goes from June 14th through August 31st.
The six quarters simply divide those three into six, you'll receive a progress report on those days (which we'll later decide) and possibly classes might end on those days as well.

The other news regards class times, class will begin on the first day of the new semester with or without the teacher in the room. If the teacher says your dismissed then you should leave the classroom, complete any homework, and return three days (in real life) later unless they tell you otherwise. The deadline for signing up for a class after the new semester has begun is two weeks after that date. You can speak to a teacher if you're missing work, have missed class or want to drop or add a class due to time and other reasons. If your teacher is absent and the class is due to start or continue, then another teacher or TA will teach that day until your teacher returns.
Some classes may be only one quarter long or less depending on what's being taught.

TEACHERS/STUDENTS IF YOU KNOW YOU WON'T BE ON GAIA FOR A GIVEN AMOUNT OF TIME, PLEASE POST HERE!

Language Class Rules:
1.) The language you're learning can only be spoken by your character. You may substitute that language in for english when writing an action. (ie. 'He woke up' can not be written in another language.)
2.) You may only speak what the teacher has taught you, unless you ask them and they tell you otherwise.
3.) Swearing in other languages is allowed.
