ive looked and looked but no matter how many creaturs i kill i always get Hack or like some useless ring i allready have

It's because few monsters drop them. I had the same trouble with keen aye and improb sphere for the longest time.
Check out the sticky in the zOMG forum that lists guides, and I know that one of the guides lists what monsters drop what rings, so you'll know what to hunt.

I had the same problem with Turtle.
OMG! Waited forever!!!
(Then I did Throne room and got turtle biggrin )
So try finishing up your quests if you have any. Generally there's a free select ring at the end.

Or do SS hard a lot.

I was able to get a fire rain from SS HARD. They drop a TON of rings. Currently looking for a rock armor, then my collection of all the rings will be complete!
