Hinou smiled as she walked up the steps to the rooftop, and to the edge of the building. "Today is pretty nice, huh?" She murmered to herself, wishing she could be playing or something insted of being stuck in the school. Ugh, parents!

Daniel sat up, hearing footsteps coming out of the rooftop. He turned around, blinking as he saw Hinou come up. "What're you doing here?" He frowned slightly, feeling his privacy a little invaded.

"Uhh, going over there." Hinou pointed defensively to the building next to the school, a three foot jump onto it's roof.

"Really now?" Daniel drawled, unimpressed. He laid back down, placing his arms behind his head. "You chose to jump from the school rooftop to another building instead of walking there. Can you even make that jump?"

At the last comment, Hinou bristled. "Of course I can!" She said indignantly. "This way is easier, because that building's been closed for awhile, and is locked everywhere. It's probably in an awful state on the inside too." She stamped her foot, and began walking towards the long abandoned building. Really, the only reason she wouldn't go inside was because she was afraid of how dark it would be in there, though she loved the thought of an adventure.

"Well, just scream for help if you break anything while you're trying to jump. Though scream loud, so the others would hear you." Daniel replied mockingly, closing his eyes. What he didn't know was that Hinou really did have half a mind to jump over there.

"Like that'll ever happen!" Hinou yelled back in a scoff. She made it to the edge, and back away a bit and began a running start. She was almost tempted to yell 'TAAAAA' as she did so. ((It's what I would do! xD))

Daniel's eyes widened the moment he heard running footsteps. In the next second, he jumped up from his laying position and grabbed Hinou before she could leap from the roof.

Hinou felt her leap get halted. "Eh? What the heck did you do that for?" She asked, rather annoyed. It was only a 3 foot jump. What was this guy's problem?

"Are you high or something?" Daniel scowled at her. "3 foot is almost 3/4 of your height. And you're only what - 5'2 5'3?"

Hinou scowled back. "No, I'm not telling you my height. I've made this jump before, so you can't really say that I can't. Now, would you kindly put me down?"

Daniel looked at Hinou with a hard stare, eyebrows slightly furrowed. "Fine," He huffed, putting her back down, and even went to the trouble of fixing her uniform and patting her head just to mock her. "Go ahead, short-stuff."

Hinou huffed, and re-ruffled up her uniform just to be difficult. Then she kicked Daniel lightly in the shin, and jumped over to the other building, forgoing the running start. She landed, and turned back to stick her toungue out at Daniel, and continued to her favorite spot.

Daniel let out an audible "Ow!" as Hinou kicked him, backing away a bit so she wouldn't be able to do it again. He saw her turn around suddenly before she jumped onto the other building, landing safely there just as she had said.
He rubbed his shin gently, scowling at her antics. He had half a mind to jump there as well and get revenge upon her, but it was too much work. He sat down instead and watched her walk.
"Make sure the building doesn't collapse under your weight. It was hard carrying you," He shouted to her.
