Nothing extreme will happen, in my thoughts. No planetary alignment is going to happen, according to planet sites.
I can see cults going ape, some suicides, real end of the world cult stuff. I can see a massive headache coming from the Earth's tension, and from its inhabitants. I'd say stick around your basement for a week, empaths, and keep a candle lit.
Does that sound a bit extremist, or would that be a safe forecast from Nebraska?

I don't believe the world will end, only have some sort of change. But for some people that is like the end of the world.

what i'm about to say...take it or leave it as you will.
my meditation teacher, whom i trust me my life, has been telling me that the world is changing. right now mankind is moving into an age where we are truly begining to understand our creative potential and get in touch with Deity in a whole new way. now at first i thought she was weird for saying it but i've noticed changes in the earth's energy vibrations as well as the vibrations of my friends and myself. my connection with the Moon mother is another reason to beleive my teacher because the Moon mother has begun showing me things and revealing things to me. so yes change is coming. in what form it will take and how it will affect our lives? idk.
also yes empaths beware.even when the end of the world is fake it still sucks a** for us.

Elfshaman also yes empaths beware.even when the end of the world is fake it still sucks a** for us. I'll be stocking up on Excedrin. This is so true, though. The energies have been changing rapidly, and I'm trying so hard to take what's been given. You know we only get what trouble we can take, what we can control. Unfortunately, we still have 1.5 years to build our control up to what it is we need in order to move on to whatever feels like coming in this direction. I'm hoping to meet an alien in the future. ^_^.

Hm.... Well, if is the end of the world as we know it then I feel fine.....I look at it like this. If the world is going to end. I'm not really going to think about it. If it's going to happen. Well, not much I can do about it. Besides, I'd kind of have to see proof. But, if something big does happen. Then I guess things will get interesting eh? Guess we'll find out in 2012.

im ready for whatever is in store for us but there are changes i listen the earth, the wind, the water, the flames they sound differenet now if that makes sense to anyone. It seems to like the Goddess want us to know something is going to happen. I think she wants us to know that things are going to change for the better

I heard about it being debunked but I didn't hear it was because it was a rollover calendar. What I heard was that the dates were mis-translated. At least for the Mayan calendar that is, I haven't heard about the other "prophecies" out there.

Yes, dates where mis-translated, but the entire theory of the calendar even predicting the end of the world has been thrown out the window. Not only did we mess up with the translation, the "prophecy" doesn't exist at all.
The closest thing the Mayans come to talking about the end of the world is a story about great flooding, and experts agree that this is a human behavioral message. Meaning, it isn't meant to be taken literally, it's a story to give people a moral message.

I've never thought much of anything will happen. Maybe something that would "bring us into a new age", but at the rate things are going, nothing us contemporaries will find to sudden a change.
Though the fact that I can't keep doomsday poem(s) out of my head doesn't really help.

I agree that I think that 2012 is just when our calendar will roll over. But I also believe that during that time, because of all the chaos and disorder that will likely come, something will change. Wether it be in the Earth or in our world governments, something will change. It's been due for a long time.

Lol, I personally wouldn't have any problem with mother nature wiping the slate clean, if she does have consciousness. I have my reasons, but you should check into the Annunaki myths, lol. I'm not too confident it'll happen, but it tickles me that the Sumerians predicted the return of the Gods from the Sky AROUND 2012, it wasn't December 21 I don't believe. I guess of all the scenarios the latter is what I least want.

i don't know if I believe the end is coming on 2012. But I do believe that eventually it will all end, it has to. And if there was any kind of evidence prooving the end is near u honestly think the government's & such are going 2 warn us ahead of time. They're going to keep a lid on it, maybe even save themselves but they sure not going to give any global announcements. It is kind of fishy how they don't believe the end is near but they've recently invested mega bucks in the past years for that vault that holds all types of seeds and stuff, just in case something happens. Or how when you look on the government site it has a whole section on preparing for catastrophic events. Maybe they are hinting by telling us we deny anything is going on but hey prepare yourself. Anyway at the end of the day it doesn't matter right whatever will be, will be.
