Story: In her past life, Kaiyo was one of the two princesses of the moon. Princess Serenity was the heir to the light side, and Kaiyo was the heir of the dark side. Kaiyo and Serenity were twins, but they were separated to rule their kingdoms. On their sixteenth birthday, the Moon was attacked by the Dark Kingdon and Kaiyo and Serenity died trying to escape, and trying to protect each other. Serenity's memories of the event were altered when she was reborn to prevent trauma, and Kaiyo still remembers. Now that the Dark Kingdom is back and they are more powerfull, Kaiyo is looking for her sister, determined to protect her this time.

Maybe so that one wouldnt get envious of the other and turn to evil..... I know I would. (then again, my OCs are evil... xD )

I think its an interesting interpretation/spin on things.
