"Now, really, is this entirely necessary?" Edward asked of the Hyrulian guard. He was speaking, of course, of the spear lodged in his chest.
"Um... well... You're a poe."
"And why, pray tell, does my being a poe necessitate this?" he said, once again indicating the spear.
"Because Poes are evil!" The guard responded.
Edward thought about this for a moment.
"Yeah. Pretty much."
He then drew his rapier with blinding speed and plucked out both of the guards eyeballs. He fell to the ground screaming and clutching the empty sockets.
Edward flicked the eyes off the end of his rapier and wiped the humor off on the guard's clothes.
"Now," he said sternly, as if to a child, "tell me where the rebel base is."
Before the guard could say anything he stabbed him in the throat with his own spear.
"See how it feels to be rudely interrupted? Think about that the next time you want to cut somebody off."
He floated off in the direction of the town as the guard lay there dying.

Jay silently watched the death of the guard from his hiding spot up in a tree. Even though he had been trained for things like this, his stomach still did flips. He jumped down to the ground after the poe was well away from him, trying to ignore the sick feeling rising into his throat. As he watched the poe move closer to the town, he grabbed the long bow off his back. He didn't know what it could do to a poe, since the spear obviously had no affect, but he thought that the familiar feeling of his favorite weapon would help calm him down. Jay krept through the shadows, keeping an eye on the poe. It was moving closer and closer to the town of Kakariko, and Jay knew that he had to stop it. He took a deep breath, and the young sheikah started after his new enemy.

Edward paused a moment when he heard a rustle in the nearby foliage. Wary of being followed, he went invisible and moved towards the direction of the sound. His hands parted the leaves inches in front of the young sheikah's face, mere moments away from exposing him.
However, before he could unveil his silent stalker he was tapped on the shoulder by a gauntlet-covered hand. He turned to address the rest of the person attached to that hand and allowed the plant to snap back into a resting position.
"Yes, what is it?" he grumped at the massive black armored individual standing before him, "And how in the name of the Interlopers do you move so quietly in that armor? If I was alive you'd have scared me to death."
His iron bodyguard motioned to the arcane symbols etched into the walls near the village entrance. They looked as though they had been incredibly complex, but had been rubbed out in many places, ruining the design.
Edward closed his eyes and waved his associate onwards.
"Yes, yes, I see. You dealt with the undead wards. Thank you. Now come, we need to see this 'Impa' Lord Ganondorf wouldn't cease speaking of. This way."
He floated onwards without another word, leaving the Iron Knuckle standing where it was. It cocked it's head towards the bushes and stared for a moment with its featureless mask. After a few long seconds it waved goodbye to the hidden young man and trekked on after its master.

Jay stopped breathing as he felt something rustle just inches in front of his face. Was it the poe, or some other creature? He was trying to duck into a better position, away from the rustle, when he heard the poe speak.
For a second he was tense, thinking that the poe was talking to him, but after listening for a moment, he could tell that it was someone, or something, else. Jay finally settled into a spot just feet away from where he was before. There, he got a clear view of the second individual.
Jay sat there for a moment, absorbing everything that they were conversing, noting that the black-clad creature never said a word. Who was this Impa that the poe was talking about? He silently notched an arrow. The poe might not be affected, but this warrior, if hit in the right spot, might go down. He adjusted the arrow and pulled the string back to his lips. Just as he was about to release it, the silent figure turned and waved at him. This startled Jay, and instead of the arrow hitting what he thought might be a fatal spot, it flew straight past both individuals and into a tree a few yards ahead.
Jay slapped himself in the face involuntarily. The arrow was pretty silent, so it may have gone unnoticed, but even so, he had no idea what these creatures would do.

((If you want to write something out of character, put it in double parenthesis like this. Impa is definitely a really big figure in the Sheikah, in fact I think she's the leader and she's definitely the Shadow sage. Your character should probably know the first part. Idk if you know who she is or not, so look on zeldapedia if you don't.))
Edward failed to notice the arrow, as he was already beyond the city walls and the Iron Knuckle ignored it because it was fairly confident in its armor and wasn't going to bother with just a little arrow.
As the Iron Knuckle reached the spot where Edward floated, it began to hear Edward ranting to himself, "... at this. Every time I raze this village to the ground it comes back, exactly the same. How? And where are the people hiding? They're always squirreled away by the time I get here."
He floated over to a building and passed through a wall. There were some smashing noises and the sound of wood splintering, and then he came out the front door.
"Nonsense. They're gone. I hate this mudhole."
((In case you're wondering, the villagers are all hiding up on Death Mountain. Their village comes back thanks to the combined efforts of the carpenters and the Composer Brothers' magic.))

((Yeah, now I remember, sorry. Like I said before, I've played the zelda games, but I don't know a lot of the actual story. I'll make sure to read into things more from now on.))
Jay released the breath he had been holding. He was incredibly lucky that either they chose to ignore the arrow, or that they actually hadn't heard it. He was studying the armored man when the realization hit him. It was Impa! How could he have forgotten? He took a shaky breath. Already he had been scared enough to release an arrow unintentionally, and now he had completely forgotten one of the most important things he knew. No wonder everyone underestimated him.
After a moment, Jay gathered his thoughts and started after the two figures again, making sure to stay well hidden. If they were looking for Impa, he had to follow them. As he made his way into the deserted town, he also wondered how everyone got away so quick. He looked up at the mountain looming overhead. Was that where they were going? He shook his head to clear his thoughts.
"Here we go." The whispered words were just as quiet as the sheikah, which was now moving deeper into the abandoned town.

As Edward trudged irritatedly through the town, his giant bodyguard followed silently. Occasionally it would shift its armor as though in discomfort, then settle back down. Edward was slowly growing more and more irate, and it knew that him being in a bad mood usually led to violence. It didn't appreciate unnecessary violence, but it usually couldn't be helped when he got like this.
Edward's glowing red eyes suddenly fizzled back down to a semi-docile yellow.
"I forget myself. We are on a mission here, and it would be best if I hold my composure during the negotiations."
He took the last few steps to the graveyard entrance. Once beyond the gate, he felt more comfortable. Surrounded by the restless spirits of the dead, it seemed as though he was with family.
The gravestones were old and decrepit. Many of them were overgrown with vines and broken. That, however is normal. What wasn't normal about them was that they overlooked empty graves.
A figure in black stood up out of one such hole, holding a corpse over his shoulder like a gunny sack.
Edward called out "Viktor! Put that down and show your guests a little hospitality! We have important matters to discuss with you!"

Viktor stepped from the hole, shrugging the corpse onto the damp ground. He made his way toward the gate slowly, adjusting his tunic in an attempt to look like he knew what he was doing. It didn't do much, because he was still covered in dirt.
He stopped near the Poe, his expressionless face contorting into a slight grimace.
"I forgot to put the tea on." He muttered. "But I'm sure that it would ...go right through you anyway."

Jay stopped behind a gravestone, out of sight of everyone else. This was a pretty odd group. A poe, some kind of huge body guard, and now this creepy guy named Viktor. He looked around at the rest of the graveyard. It looked like a normal graveyard, except that all the graves were empty, and this really bugged him.
As Jay watched the strange group, he settled down into his spot. He didn't know how long this would take, but he knew that it would be important.

Edward withdrew a shiny black ceramic ocarina from his coat and began to play a dark, deep tune. It echoed like thunder in the air and made the teeth of those listening shake together like percussion instruments. The energy that whirled at his feet slowly turned into smoke that rose up and coalesced into a massive, muscular, dark skinned man. As the tune ground slowly to a halt the heavy thickness that had gathered in the air let up and the last little bits of smoke swirled into the figure.
Edward stood up a little straighter and attempted to restrain the snarl that was perched on the edge of his lips waiting for an opportunity to pounce.
"Ganondorf," he said to Viktor, "would like to speak with you."
"IT SEEMS," boomed the dark smoky figure, "THAT I NO LONGER HAVE NEED OF YOUR SERVICES. I CAN MANAGE THE CREATION OF UNDEAD BY MYSELF FROM HERE ON OUT. IN SHORT, YOU ARE FIRED, AS I DO NOT NEED HELP FOR SOMETHING I CAN DO MYSELF, AND I DO NOT WANT A POWERFUL EX ALLY LIVING SO CLOSE. EDWARD, YOU MAY DISPOSE OF HIM IF YOU WISH, I HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO BE DOING RIGHT NOW."

Jay slipped over to another head stone, trying to get a better view of everything. He was still a little shaky from the tune that the poe had played.
He had been taught to play the ocarina by his father, but over the years, after all the running and hiding he had to do, his talent was probably lost. He hadn't played for years, but for some odd reason, the chilling tune had stirred something up inside him. Maybe one day he would return to playing the ocarina, but not now. He cleared the fond childhood memories from his head and focused his thoughts on the scene in front of him.

Viktor put his hand behind his back, gripping the hilt of his sword. "Now, now..." He said. "I'm sure we can talk this out like mature, polite folks."

"Quite." Edward responded rather curtly.
His rapier materialized like firewood burning in reverse, glinting in the dull light as it whipped into reality. He flourished it once before making a downward thrust at Viktor's heart. His mouth stretched into a nasty grin as he felt the fabric of Viktor's clothing rip on the end of his blade.
Meanwhile, the armored goliath had sat down on a stump to observe.

Victor grimaced as he jumped backwards, attempting to dodge the infernal weapon. His overcoat was snagged, but he managed to receive only a scratch upon his chest. He pulled his own blade forward without hesitation, aiming a backhand swing at the side of the poe's head.
