Jeff sighed, and walked down the familiar hallways of RED Base. He'd transferred back here after a rather embarrassing stint at Gravelpit. While the weather was an improvement, the new crew was downright terrible, and their medic really wasn't that good a medic. He had, however, fixed Jeff's hair for him. So his hair was somewhat less scraggly than before. It was still pulled back with the green bandanna, however, so he hoped he was at least somewhat more recognizable.
A turn led him down the same hallway that the Sniper's nest was on, and he could hear arguing. He squinted, before walking over to the ladder and climbing it. He knocked on the hatch, waiting for a response. Maybe Kar and Rhys were still here....

"Tch, s**t." she grumbled. Having been too excited to play with her shiny new toy, she had forgotten the bullets in her room. "I gotta head back down. And no, if I return with food, you can bet your a** I will cut off your hand if you try it again." She emphasized her point by running her hand over her bowie. "And this time I'll make sure to lick it, so there." Ever the paragon of maturity, Ms. Alorade.

"I promise I won't do it again." he began, giving a smirk. He shook the coffee cup at her direction. She was going back down after all. It was only a little bit out of the way from the rooms. "...Only if you give me refill."

Kar stared at him for a few heartbeats. "Fine." she said, taking the cup. "I better get a tip." She said to him, the second time this week. She was kidding, but sometimes she was serious. Pulling open the hatch to head down, she saw an all too familiar face. Blinking at first, as to confirm what she saw, Kar then let out a very un-Kar-like squeal, almost dropping Rhys' mug. The grin on her face was something to be seen.

Jeff yawned, and leaned heavily on the ladder. He hadn't really gotten last sleep last night, what with getting settled and all. He'd have to see if Kar had brewed a pot of coffee this morning or not. Actually, she'd probably brewed six or so, since it was almost noon.
Jeff actually fell asleep at the top of the ladder to the Sniper's nest, just sort of hanging there, arms looped around the top rung.

Had it been any of the others, except for perhaps A, they would've had a ceramic mug "accidentally' fall on their head. Rather, he was only met with a nudge by the toe of a Doc Marten boot. "Oi. Wakey, Wakey. I need to get down and give princess his coffee."

Jeff roused almost as quickly as he'd fallen asleep. "Cup o' Joe? Sounds great." He mumbled, sliding back down the ladder and landing heavily on the floor below. "Hey Kar. Long time no see. I got a lucky transfer." He said, smiling tiredly at her. "Is Mr. Ser still up there?" He asked, stepping away from the ladder so Kar could have room to step off of it.

"I heard that." The Aussie called out. Wait? Why was she squealing? Who was she talking to? Having a look down the best he could, he blinked as well, more surprised than happy at the moment. "Strewth, it's really you, Jeff." he asked, dodging the top of Kar's head. Had he not moved, it would got him in a head-uppercut of sorts. "Just couldn't stay away, eh?"

Jeff waved, and smiled. "Hey Rhys! Actually, the crew here is better, even if the weather is hotter than the fifth circle of hell." He said, leaning back to get a better look at the other sniper. He seemed to still be mostly intact, which was good. Sometimes working with Kar was a hazard...
"Care to join Kar and I for a stroll to the kitchen for some coffee?" he asked, grinning.

"Why speak of the devil." she said. "Yeah, why don't you? That way, you can get your damn coffee yourself." she said, placing the mug on the empty surface between the man's hands before climbing down and giving him a face. "Now I don't need to get any more flack." The rumors of the two closeness had not faded in Jeff's absence. She sighed, "Well, let's go catch up. Coming dear?" The sting on her barb could almost be felt physically.
[[For the lolz, assume it's the face Roger gives Carmen in THIS scene.]]

Carlos was up surprisingly early, looking through his garment bag. He hadn't opened it since he last wore it and that was months ago. He pulled out the shoes from the bag and looked at them. He then pulled out the polish and a rag and got started, humming a tune while doing so.
Natasha was up and allready the heat was annoying for it this early. While walking in the hall she heard a humming from one of the rooms and wondered what was going on but decided to ignore it and keep going to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Feeling like he had no choice in the matter, he decided to join them. "And I was just starting to get comfortable." He commented dryly before Rhys took the mug and followed suit. Climbing down, her added, "You know, if you keep saying things like that, it's only going to get worse." He admitted, the two of them were pretty much in sync since day one, whether that was good or bad remained to be seen. Though, since Henri's little comment he had tried to remain a little close, if only to keep the Frenchman off. He wasn't a particularly jealous man, at least until he discerned the nagging feeling he had as of late as jealousy.

Jeff couldn't help but laugh out loudly, shaking his head. "I see it's still the same-old with you two." He said, smiling widely. He always felt a bit happy in knowing he was sort of there when Kar and Rhys decided to hit it off, but shh don't tell anyone it was just a rumor.
"Oh, Kar, I brought Ollie back with me. You know he got shot twice and respawned both times? Threw the medic through a loop." He said, nudging her gently with his elbow as he fell into step next to her. "So what's been going down since I left?"

"I can see why." she smiled at the thought. She missed Ollie. Bialy too, had grown, showing signs of roly-plyness despite Kar feeding him only twice a day. "Bialy's around, the lazy lump always seems to know when to hightail it. We get shot at, and he's gone. Then next thing you know, he's having a bitchfit 'cause God forbid the cat naps on his camper." She jerked a thumb behind her. "It's got the best sun. Hell, I'd park my a** up there and do a little sunbathing myself if it wasn't for the crap I'd get."
