About a week has past, and much has changed. The land is peaceful, still hidden deep away where no human would dare go. The land is generous, lots of prey and little hardships. The two packs still have yet to encounter each other, though they have changed.

Redbay's pack has experienced quite the change. Harthorn had nearly demanded help from Redbay and her brother Rowan, and they couldn't turn him down. It seemed Redbay had forseen it though, having set up plans ahead of time. She handed the entire pack down to Eirwyn, trusting her the most responsible, or perhaps the most capable. She asked many others to stay at her side and help her in any way she needed.

As for Akuma's pack, it seems to have grown slightly as well. A new wolf showed up and was oddly enough excepted. As for the injured, their woulds had healed as well, and they were up and about. Akuma seemed to rule the pack quite fiercely while still letting them do as they please.

As for now, both packs are staying stable and developing. What would happen once they finally met? Would they hold peacefully? or tear each other apart? Only time would tell...

Shelka

Shelka stood over a fallen deer, panting heavily. It had put up quite the struggle before she ended it's life. Now covered completely in the creatures blood she slowly stood up tall, a smirk playing at her face. She was impressed with herself. Taking down a deer single handedly was no simple task, though she doubted it'd be enough to impress her Alpha. She let out a silent sigh. 'You know she's never going to accept you. You'll never impress her.' Shelka laughed hearing the voices again. It had been a while sense she left Sareth's side, this was the first time hearing them for over a week. "You guys enjoying your time out? You know I'm going straight back to the den, back to Sareth." Around Sareth the voices couldn't speak, and she enjoyed taunting them for once. They didn't answer her though, not having a good answer actually. Of course, she wasn't getting back quick. Killing the deer was hard enough, now she had to get it back to camp. With another sigh she reached down and grabbed it's antler in her mouth, and with a heave, started her long trek back to the den.

Fynn

Fynn sat facing the water, his fur soaking wet, a rather large fish dangled from his jaws, its tail still flipped back and forth slightly as he crushed down on its head. He dropped the scaley creature and grinned, this was the first time since he joined that he had hunted by himself. Without the aid of Whisper, who seemed to be a genius at fishing.

Since he and Inu found the pack things had been mellow. He had been talked into staying for a bit, and it really was helping with his social issues, especially regarding the male members of his kind.

He pawed at the fish before yawning, the Early Morning, Sun beamed through the trees over head. It was warm out, and his fur would dry quickly, he was sure. With a grunt he stood and picked up his fish, shaking out his fur he turned, in search of Whisper; perhaps to rub in the fact he had finally caught a fish.

Sareth

Sareth was between the den and the lake, his eyes narrowed slightly. His ribs were still slightly bruised, but not enough to cause him pain. His toes flexed slightly and he pounced on his imaginary sparring partner, biting at the imaginary wolfs neck. He sighed as he landed on his paws and grunted. There was only so much a n imaginary sparring partner could do. It all seemed a bit biased. And if he was to be at top performance he needed a real target. His eyes slid up towards the den, wondering what Akuma would think of being his sparring partner; though he changed his mind as he opened his mouth to bark at her. A rather large wicked grin formed on his muzzle. "Sunni." He barked, knowing the newest member of their pack was somewhere around here. She would be a perfect enemy.

Eirwyn

The surprise of Redbay leaving the pack to her was still strong in the she wolfs mind, she had never run a pack, it was all new to her. She sniffed around a couple of flowers, trying to recall the plants that Fynn was trying to teach her about. He was a rather useful member since he and inu had shown up.

"Aha!" She barked softly, finding the mint plant and grinned, turning her head to look over at Hunt, who never seemed far behind since Redbays' leave. "Look! I found it!" She exclaimed, lightly touching the leaves of the plant with a paw. She had come to the conclusion it was better to be a well rounded alphaess, then depending on one wolf to do a job. You cant expect others to do what you cant.

Her two toned eyes slid back to the plant, stepping back to make sure she wasn't going to kill it; it was a plant of healing, she didn't want to kill it. Shaking out her white fur she turned her eyes up to the blue sky and glanced back at the male. "I'm thinking of arranging an actual hunt. With everyone there." There was only so much fish one wolf could stand. And she really wanted red meat. "Caribou maybe." she had gotten use to the fact the male was there, at the beginning things were a bit iffy. She had actually gone after him verbally once in the beginning about space. But she had calmed down about it since then.

Hunt

Hunt was in his own world when Eirwyn addressed him. He was lost in his own thoughts, thinking of what he promised Redbay before she parted ways. He quickly snapped back to reality, cutting off his thoughts before he could finish them. He quietly looked to the flower, cocking his head as he smiled a bit. "Good job, those will come in very handy, will be good to know where they are when we need them." Plants weren't his specialty and he tried to get a good view on it incase he ever had to retrieve some. He looked Eirwyn over once and smiled to her. He enjoyed going on walks with her now that they were over the initial stress that came with losing Redbay. 'Hunt, i need you to promise me you'll keep the pack safe, don't leave Eiry's side, she will make a great Alpha, but there may be others jealous of her position. I don't want to put her in harms way by giving her this position.' That was the last real conversation Hunt had with Redbay before she left, other than good bye of course.

As she spoke of a group hunt he couldn't help but laugh a bit. It always made him laugh to think he was named Hunt and he was going to go on a hunt. "A group hunt could be fun." He smirked a little as he paused. "And quite fruitful. Been awhile sense we had some real meat." He took one last look at the flower she had found. "Shall I inform the others Alpha?" He was in the bad habit of calling her Alpha, though it most likely annoyed her, it was just his nature.

Eirwyn

Eirwyn grimaced slightly as he called her alpha. Her lip wrinkled and for a minute her muzzle was all teeth. "You don't have to run off right away." She padded towards him, her tail wagging as she passed by him. "I'm thinking maybe we do it tomorrow. Or this evening, when the moon is high in the sky. It is the full moon tonight. It will light the way." She glanced over at him, her white ears perked. "And don't call me Alpha. I am no better then you or anyone else here." She said and lifted her hind leg, scratching her neck fur. "Perhaps addressing the pack will be a good idea. I mean. Give them some time to prepare." She barked lightly.

Hunt

Hunt nodded to his Alpha, or.. rather to Eiry. "Yes Eirwyn, sorry.. It's how i was raised before i came here." He made a pointless excuse, knowing she would still not have him calling her Alpha. He watched her start walking forward. He let her lead a bit and then followed after her with a lazy yawn. "A night hunt? The sounds even better." That would definitely spice things up. Despite all the change that had taken place recently things had managed to grow some what boring for lack of a better word. He always wondered what the other members of the pack thought of both Eirwyn being Alpha, and him seeming to follow her everywhere. He had no 'rank' so follow her around kinda seemed odd, but it was his promise to Redbay. "I wonder how many will want to join us.." He said, trailing off a bit.

Moonlight

Moonlight passed the old bones of the bear that she had killed so long ago. It still pleased her that she had displayed them, they made her feel powerful. Passing the cougar skeleton, she entered the cave. She still carried the rabbit in her mouth. She dropped it's body onto the floor and walked over to Ash. Still sleeping. Was that chase so hard? Yesterday she had challenged him to a race on the mountainside, and had won. Ash was pretty tired, so they went back to the den immediately. He'd been sleeping ever since. "Ash, wake up. I killed a rabbit for you." His ear twitched. She sighed. Has he always been like this? Seriously... She smiled and brought the rabbit closer to him and laid down next to him. She smiled wider as she saw a breeze brush the treetops of the forest bellow. In my year of living at night, I had forgotten how beautiful colors are.

Safi sat down on the same rock by the river where she had saved and first met Whisper. Much had changed ever since, she had met such nice wolves, she still remembered Jade, Whisper, Eirwyn, and some others she couldn't remember. She was still a loner, and ever since the former alpha of the wolf pack had handed the leader's reins down to Eirwyn, Safi realized she hadn't quite been accepted into the pack. It didn't bother her that much though, she was used to being a loner. Staring at her reflection in the rippling waters, she thought, what now? Perhaps she would stay, these wolves were really nice...it would be rude to just up and leave them... Pushing a pebble into the river, she watched the ripple distort her reflection for a few minutes, then return to normal. The only thing to decide now for Safi was to either stay with them, or take her leave.

Whispering stones

Whisper growled as he bite into a limb of a tree ripping it off and throwing it to the ground. " God d*** it !" He yelled before he kicked the limb and bite into it again. Friken hawthorne.. rip his throat out next time i see him.. He sat and started to cry hiding behind the tree. He had left the den soon after he heard Rowan was leaving him, AGAIN. He laid down as the tears leaved his eyes. Yes he had meet his sister, and a few nice wolves, but none compared to his lover.. Rowen. He would of liked to go and help but, he couldn't he didn't want to leave his sister. He Growled and then closed his eyes sighing breathing heavy his fur stained in his blood and mud. He had gone from crazy clean freak, to insane angry mess. He was pretty sure he would bite into any wolf that got near him.

Jade stretched slightly as she stood. She looked around, not seeing Whisper. She was starting to worry about her brother, and she knew that she needed to help him. She walked around and sniffed the air, quickly catching her brother's scent. She went to the tree that he was by and nudged him softly. "Come on, Whisper, why don't we go clean you up?" She asked him, licking some of the dirt off his fur. He was a mess. 'Note to self. Give Rowan a nice long lecture about leaving my brother..' she told herself as she looked at her brother

Sunni yawned and stretched. She had just taken a nice little nap. She stood up slowly and looked around. She wasn't really sure where the other members of the pack were, but she was off on her own at the moment. She had decided to go for a walk awhile ago, and somehow had ended up sleeping.

Fynn

// ignore Fynns last post. I'll concoct something later for him. //

Sareth

When the female didn't answer his bark the first time his hackles rose and he lifted his head haughtily. "Sunni!" He said, his voice growing more sharp and gravely. His muzzle wrinkled slightly at the bark, the female was getting on his nerves. "I need a sparring partner! Get your furry hind over here!" He snapped, his hackles rising.

Eirwyn

"Its okay." Eiry barked softly, a rather large grin appearing on her muzzle. "Doesn't it?" She said rather proudly, glad she had come up with the idea. "I figure most of our prey will be sleeping or tired from the day." She said as she padded slightly infront of the male, though she slowed when she noted she was leading. She padded beside him as he spoke his final sentence. "I hope its more then us." She said, shouldering him slightly.

Sunni jumped with a start, finally hearing Sareth "I'm coming" She said as made her way to Sareth. "sparring huh?"

Sareth

"Yes. Being in top performance should be your top priority." He puffed out his chest, gazing down his muzzle at her, a sneer appearing on his face. "Show me what you've got in that lanky hide of yours." With that he shifted his weight, his paws slightly spread apart. He was craving a real fight. He needed that coppery taste of blood. It was driving him mad. He growled low in his throat, his hackles rising slowly. "come on Sunni." He barked and launched at her, one large paw hitting her with enough force to knock her over, but not enough to cause her harm.

Safi dipped her neck low and drank from the river, sighing as it's cool, sweet water hit her tongue. She looked up at the sky, taking in the scents of the forest, the freshness of the plants around her. A chipmunk skittered in front of her, looking up at her with it's huge hazel colored eyes, silvery fish swam past her in the water. Safi didn't pay any attention to them, she didn't feel like hunting or fishing anyways.

Hunt

Hunt smiled over at Eirwyn as she shouldered him. She had loosened up around him lately. Of course he still was a bit rough, not the best at talking to friends. "I'm sure some of them will be willing to join. They've grown restless I'm sure." He noticed she slowed to a pace at her side and he smiled again. She didn't like to be held as Alpha it seemed, though even Hunt felt she was a good idea. "Are you going to let them no now?"
