I haven't read this one yet (shame!), but I've heard some unfortunate reviews about it. Quite a number of people don't like it. If you have read it: Is it true? What do you think? Kisses!

Honestly, I read it and promptly forgot that it existed. I don't think it was bad per-say, It just wasn't all that memorable. It didn't feel up to par with the rest of T. P.'s work.

I just finished it, and I really liked it. It would be nice if she did more books in the Circle universe, and it was the first new one in the Circle that I've read in a while.

I haven't read it either because quite a few of the amazon reviews were less then complimentarty, but most of them misspelled commen words, and they were mostly "i didnt like it cuz it suxed." so I doubt there was any profesionall opinions. I might just go check it out right now smile

I've had it since it was out, but I didn't read it until just a few months ago....(actually probably just before I joined up here! XD ) I had heard soo many bad reviews on it, that I just really didn't want to open it and find out that it ruined my entire view of the Circle world, but I was sleepless one night and usually I can open a Pierce book and send myself off into happy dreams in the worlds she creates. My only problem was that I had recently read all the ones I reached for (the Wild magic series, the Trickster duo, the Beka Cooper series....etc. etc. ). It was right there, and the next thing I knew it was 2 A.M. and my dad was mad because I was still up. I was 2/3rds of the way through, and I wasn't done with it until 2 hours later. It was fantasmic! So here's my advice ignore the reviews, they are made by people who didn't even read any of the other books! It's the first that we hear of anything of what happened to Briar and Rose, and I thought it was pretty great. ^_^ Although while it's up to par with what she has written, it doesn't really measure up to her other books in that series. Maybe because she hadn't written on them in a while?? Who knows. Just read the book and form your own opinions on it.
*looks up* oh wow....I think I just wrote a story..... sweatdrop sorry!
I even ended up with a scroll bar! sweatdrop sweatdrop

It's not bad, but it's not perfect either. I sped read it because nothing in it really ever caught my attention. I did like the characters though!
