Issay hungry. Not eat a heart in a long time, no new ghost to protect. Land and water funny colors here, green and blue, leafy things all around. Meaty running furry things about - Issay catch some, eat some, no ghosts in them. Need new ghosts. Not safe, not safe not- others here! Scary thought speakers with ghosts in them here, like the running meat. Smell the ghosts on their breath, hear theor footsteps before they make them. Issay stay here till others come, so Issay can steal their ghosts...

What on earth had happened here? The brown and green landscape faded behind her as Mvyma entered into a land that did not look well at all. It looked... sick, as if it had fallen ill from something it might not recover. The spotted little female kept her eyes looking, carefully observing the world. This was odd. All the land she'd seen didn't look like this. It wasn't until she came upon the water that Mvyma felt the first slight stir of fear. What would happen if she drank that? She didn't dare think, nor would she dare drink. Mvyma turned from the water, her stomach turning. It would taste terrible, she'd warrant. There was something about this part of the world she'd discovered that didn't feel right. Now that she was here, she didn't like it one bit. With every intention to leave, the cub's pace picked up.

Other has quiet feet like it's far away, but Issay can smell it's ghost and knows it's not. It thoughts are small and sharp - dainty, quick little knives that slice thin, shallow lines in his head. Lots of lines, but not deep lines. Little one then, with a little heart and a little ghost. The little ghosts are never strong enough to stay. Issay should leave strange land with funny lives and little others in it, go back to safe places that are dark and glow green like him...
No, want heart. Little others near big others - little ghost near big ghosts. Issay chase little one, find big ones. Find meal.

Mvyma wanted to leave the sick land far behind her. However, each pawstep at this pace would eventually wear her down, and she was smart enough to realize this. She slowed to a 'trot', padding her way towards the salvation of safe lands. However, above the scents of this deathlands, there was another smell. She didn't recognize it, or even like it above all else. If there was someone else though, or even a sight of dying food... Why should she pass that up? There was no particular direction from where the scent was strongest, so, against a lot of her better judgement, Mvyma veered off in a random direction, hoping to find the source of the odd smell.

Little footsteps and little cutting thoughts turn and move towards Issay, slower than they were running before. Little other come to Issay? Little other come to goodlands of black sand and purple water? Issay little once - scared without large mother close to protect, so bigger Issay keep her close forever.
Issay mama say, little other lost. Little other scared. See little other. If ghost smells strong, Issay protect. If ghost smell weak, free ghost to dance without skin.
Issay stop, Issay wait. Wait for little other come. Issay do what Issay mama say. Issay good boy.

As soon as the smell started becoming stronger, Mvyma moved a little bit faster, though not too much where she would tire herself out. Her head swung from side to side, drinking in the different scent until her course was corrected right on the other path. Like a hound dog, she did not veer. She kept going. The first thing she saw was his black eyes. She hadn't realized that it was another and much larger hyena she had been following these past few minutes. At first her heart jumped before quelling back to it's normal beat, the tempo fading from her ears and chest back beneath her skin where only it could be felt if one was really searching for it. "Hello." She started simply, eyes kept solely on the other's.

Issay hear words before said, as always, drinking them in from the air they floated on. Little other strong?
Issay mama say, little other strong. Keep. Keep safe. Make good like Issay.
Issay say to little other - "Issay make little one safe. Make not other and scared anymore."
Issay mama say, pick up little one careful and quick on back of neck, and carry away to Issay den.
Issay do as Issay mama say. Pick up little one, smell her strong little ghost, be kept safe by other ghosts from sharp little thoughts. Taste little one's name on the wind: Mvyma

After the animal, which Mvyma assumed was Issay, spoke, he picked her up. For a moment, the cub was afraid. However, fear passed onto curiosity about 'Issay'. The curiosity soon faded into a slight anger. What was he carrying her for? She could walk. Secondly, where on earth were they going? She ran his words through her mind, once wriggling. 'Make not other and scared anymore'... What'd he mean?

Issay moves fast, long legs carry far. Far away from bad places of others deep into lands of Issay where others not come. In Issay lands Issay ghost clearer and stronger, strongest of all in Issay den after meat and water. Tough claws kick up black sand with a strange green tint, and it is home. Flowing through hazy air and streams of ghosts, Issay home.
"Little one safe." Issay say past fur in mouth.

Mvyma watched the ground, one of her few options, as 'Issay' went along. She watched the earth that looked partly fevered, if such a term could apply to the ground, turned green. This land was unhealthy. At Issay's words, Mvyma cast her eyes up at high as they could go, still not fully catching all the sight of the hyena she wanted to see. She supposed that maybe she'd have enough time to look him over before he left. Where else would she be safe other than this accursed place? She wasn't used to being carried around, and honestly, she was rather enjoying covering land without her own paws subjected to torture. However, she still found herself wondering when Issay would put her down and explain himself.

Mmm, Issay den. Back in the strange place of the others it would have been smelt a mile off, but the heavy air here didn't carry odors too far. It smelt of death of course, but an old, maintainted kind of demise. Of leftover parts kept for a purpose.
Mvyma on ground, not in mouth, so Issay goes down to the good purple water and drinks with the free mouth before returning to the large cave. Issay does not live in Issay's den, so much as Issay drifts from place to place. But ghosts like having dens, so they live here with Issay mama as their queen. They live with their bones, all carefully eaten clean and arranged against the cave walls. Issay would be knee-deep in ghost bones if they were all here, but sometimes the others came and thought at him before he could get them all. Others were cruel.
Issay mama reminded him that cubs should be cared for. "Mvyma safe now, others not get you. Issay keep safe. Mvyma hungry?"

Mvyma was finally on the ground, and smelt death everywhere. When Issay left, she got further assesment of his cave, her fur rising slowly off her body. Where was she? Looking about only made her fur rise and her body shrink uncomfortably. Bones. What kind of animal? It was hard to tell, but if you added fur to some of their limp forms, then... She gave a small shudder. She didn't hear Issay return, so when he spoke, Mvyma leapt, whirling around. Others? She wasn't sure that others were her main concern at the moment. Although... his curiosity did make her stomach rumble quietly. "Yes." She answered quietly.
