"The plane will begin its descend now. Please fasten your seatbelts."
The passenger announcement blared through the speakers of the aeroplane, as Romanov obediently reached over to fasten his seatbelts over his waist. He straightened his legs, stretching out as far as the seat in the confined economy class allowed. Even though he was extremely wealthy for a 12 year old boy, there was no need to spend extra money to travel on business class during flights. Might as well spend his money on a few more weapons, that was his policy.

Touchdown. The whole plane shuddered as though threatening to collapse any moment. Romanov closed his eyes tightly, trying to get over the feeling of air sickness. He never did well on planes, and was almost air sick every single time he went on a plane. If it was not for this "meaninful" trip to Korea, he would not have travelled out of Italy.

Getting through the immigration officer. Now THAT was a challenge. The moment the immigration officer glanced at him weirdly, he knew that he was in for some questioning or trouble.
"Uh, Romanov? Are you travelling alone?"
"Yes..."
"Please wait a moment."
The immigration officer motioned to a few of the other staff, and as they hurried over, Romanov swore mentally as he realised that there was going to be a lot of trouble regarding his arrival.
"Romanov De Luca?"
God, did they have to ask everything at least four times?
"Yes sir, is there a problem?"
Put on the innocent look, hope to get by.
"Yes uh...we can't seem to find any record of your parents, and we'd like to know if you're travelling alone?"
[clor=green] "Yes sir.
"Right, uh...did anyone grant you permission?"
"...No sir."
"Uh...I'm afraid we can't let you past, Romanov. You see, without the permission of a guardian or a parent, children below thirteen are not permitted to travel alone."
"...Is that so?"
"I'm afraid so, yes."
"I see then, it can't be helped."
What happened next was so fast that no one saw it coming. Four knives flashed out, plastic ones that could not be detected while going through security. Nevertheless, they were still as sharp and almost as hard as steel. Four slashes, precisely slashing the throat, and four bodies falling to the ground. Before anyone could see what happened, Romanov had thrust the bloody knives into the back of his belt, hiding them from view. He then took a deep breath...and screamed as loudly as he could.
"OH MY GOD, SOMEBODY HELP!"
He yelled, as he shifted slowly towards the exit, and ran off with his baggage before anyone could ask him what was wrong. Romanov De Luca, twelve year old, was now officially a fugutive of Korea.

[[FROM: [Seoul] -- Olympic Park]]

A few days had passed since the incident at the airport, and now security was tighter than ever. The airport couldn’t shut down longer than the day after the attack on an immigration officer due to the massive flow of traffic both coming and going from the country. And this passenger was no different. Despite the murmur of the airport, passengers both ignorant of the occurrence of a few days ago and those who were wary and suspicious of the people around them, there was a loud, obnoxious buzz about a single individual, reporters and press writers alike hovering around the force field of bodyguards he had.

And then it happened. Like a flicker of light, there was a darkness that had swallowed the whole of the airport and a shrill scream of terror called out from the silence that had befallen it. The darkness had fled, and everything seemed to have gone back to normal; except, there was one person who was missing. “My baby!” Cried a woman in the distance, waiting in line for her flight prior to the mysterious moment. People frantically looked to and fro in aims to spot the person causing the trouble and possibly the victim of a baby.

A shadowy figure raced through the sea of people milling in every which way to their gates, sliding to the side as they gave way to the speeding figure, wary of his approach. People stopped and gawked in terror at the ridiculously rude male, his face obscured by a bowler’s hat, and the disciplinary force on his heels. There were police and security guards alike chasing after the male, but even they weren’t able to handle this particular perp. And with a flick of his wrist, an explosion occurred from one of the side shops, blowing the police who had been following him away like yesterday’s news. This was something out of their league.

He was in the mafia.

Spirito Di Potenziamento! [Spirit Augmentation]” Rang a feminine voice as the roar of tornado-speed winds kicked up. They tore at the side shops in the airport’s pathways, books and papers flying all around in the air as the wave of hazed wind crashed through whatever obstacles necessary to strike its target. The fleeing man had lost the police, but had gained a new means of authority on his heels. Peering over his shoulder, he watched as the haze soared past him, his pursuer’s aim quite off for such a powerful strike. He scoffed as he spotted it was a girl, and his face, completely shrouded by an ominous shadow that seemed out of place, twisted into a smug grin. “Try again, sweetheart,” He goaded her, his voice deep and booming as the people fled from the scene.

It left the figure with a tan, trench coat huddling his figure and the berry haired female out there, ready to face one another. The man held up his hand in a cat-like pose, as if he were going to lick it, and gave a light purr. “Mmhm~” He hummed, somewhat humored by the girl’s effort, and there was a gleam in his eyes which seemed to ignite the gleam in his ring, which immediately burst into a fury of orange flames. He watched the girl with dark eyes, his content purring growing louder as the flames fanned upwards, enveloping both of his arms. They gave the impressions of paws, and he bent over onto all fours.

Where is the child?” She demanded, holding her bamboo fan in one hand. She hadn’t augmented it just yet, for she didn’t need to, but with what was about to ensue, she may just have needed a bit more help than she realized. “You care about that puny stranger when you, in fact, just met a much more important memory of your own~?” Cooed the male as a long, orange tail sprouted from his hind, signaling the nearing of his ready to fight. “Where is he?!” She roared, unleashing another roar of wind from her small, handheld fan. It grew into a large wave of wind, and scraped against the porcelain tiled floors until it soared to barrel into the feline-man, who simply side-stepped the attack. “You’re going to have to do more than that, little Kaikoku-chan~” He mused, stalking forward.

Kai winced at his words, taking it as an insult, and immediately clenched her fan tighter, her fingers pressing against the folds in the fan. It was swallowed in a glow of faint purple, puffy clouds surrounding her fan as it grew in size. It took her two hands to steady, but she had done this many times before, and with the ring on her hand beginning to glow a steady blur of purple Cloud Flames, she was ready to fight this Sky-Flamed Catman.

She squinted, eyes locked on the figure before her, and she charged forward, more than wanting to knock him out and rescue the kid, wherever he had put it. She wanted to make sure he paid for following her father and posing as a reporter just to try and assassinate him. Luckily, her father had fled from the country, headed to Busan and would stay until Kaikoku would join him. For now, however, she was in her short skirt and sweatshirt, sneakers squeaking against the cracked floor to completely destroy this guy. Whoever he was. She heaved the fan high above her head, and brought it down to slam onto her opponent, but he cocked his head to the side, holding it up with a playful paw as he stared into her eyes.

Your help won’t come. He’s too afraid to get you into what you’re already in, to involve you in what he thinks is completely out of your world: he is too afraid to help you.

♪ A boring, dull, nothing job. That was what Arcadio had been assigned. Him, along with several other members of Seizonsha, were to be stationed at the airport in order to make sure nothing else happens. With the incident dealing with the boy Arcadio had been placed on what would be considered 'Grunt' duty, though he didn't mind it. His spirits were rather high ever since he got to see his old lo-err friend again, Kai-chan. As this was now classified as a mission Arcadio sported an all black suit, accustomed to anything he did for Seizonsha. A black, sleek sports car pulled up to the air port, followed by two others. People watched in awe as Arcadio and his men stepped out, oh yeah, they were super cool right now.

"You guys know the deal. Hit all exits, set up a large perimeter. Reimei, I want you to man the camera's. I'll be patrolling through the airport on the regular, also, I would like someone to bring me a cup of coffee. It seems like a long day ahead." The men filed out the car, each headed to do their duties. With that done he could get to work and no one would bother him seeing as he was the lead on this mission. His movements were quick paced as he walked into the bustling port, being greeted by police with a nice smile. All they knew was that he was on guard duty, not where he came from. His weapon was tucked nicely on his right side, warmly put away. People eyed Arcadio as he walked calmly along, a face of utter seriousness. The fangirls --Yes Arcadio had those wherever he went-- swooned as he walked by, hearts filling their eyes. He gave them little attention

Then suddenly CLICK! The lights were out in the entire Airport. Arcadio quickly went to his blade, though he realized there was no threat to him as of yet. Next thing you knew "MY BABY!" A woman cried in the distance, Arcadio hearing it began to make his way towards her, pulling out a flash light. "Damn! Somebody give me a heads up! How did this happen?" He spoke into the mike planted on his collar, awaiting an answer to this bewildering situation. The man wasn't going to get away from Arcadio! That was for sure!

Then, out of nowhere, a boom sounded on Arcadio's left, sending him flying into the upper level of the airport. His body, now under the control of the blast after-effect, crashed into a gift shop filled with maps and the sorts. People were flooding the airport, not wanting to be harmed as the situation grew even more wild. His vision seemed dulled as Arcadio looked up from his position, being firmly planted smack dab between a map of Africa and a nice family get away. <********> His words were filled with slight agony, him getting to his feet before an anger over-took. His ring, one of the more powerful ones in the Mafia realm, lite aflame with snow, a very lite color engulfing it. Arcadio went o his side, grabbing his Katana which then to lite aflame as he pulled it out right from it's sheath.

With that Arcadio was ready for battle and ran outward, that's when he got some info on his collar. "Arcadio-San! Arcadio-San! Pick up!" His hand touched the mike, letting the man speak. "Go ahead.""The man is in the man is under the shipping deck, right next to some flight path ways. He's being confronted by someone as we speak. From what we can tell it's a berry headed highschooler! She seems to have some power behind her as well!" Arcadio's eyes opened, berry headed highschooler? Who did he knew with such features? "Also, it seems the girl is fighting the man as we speak! Though she isn't doing much of anything.""What about the man? What abilities does he hold?"'Well so far it seems he posses the sky flame and he has some type of cat like form, most likely his body is his weapon." Arcadio touched the mike before speaking. "I'm engaging!"

His footsteps echoed through the now empty airport, making his way towards them. "Kai-Chan please..don't do anything stupid!" His mind wandered back to another time..a time when he and Kai played together, when she'd take his toys and eat his snacks. When they were confronted by bullies and had to take them done...it was all so long ago but Arcadio recalled it all as if it were yesterday. His eyes brows clenched as his grip tightened on Mangetsu, his flames increasing in size. The color glowing outright rampant from his emotions. Kai-chan was special to him, he'd never let her get hurt!

He finally arrived at the scene, taking off his upper jacket as he ran closer. He was stationed behind the man as he watched him grab Kai-chans fan. "She..is a dying will user?" But..how? Arcadio ran forward at a extreme speed, katana back before letting out a full on slash of snow flames in the form of a crescent, it aimed for the cat mans back. At the same time he leaped in the air, hopping over him while giving a hard tug to Kai-chan, pulling he away from the man. The fan came floating into Arcadio's free hand as he held Kai-chan in his arms while flipping. He slid, landing a little ways away from the catman, who was hopefully frozen over. "Your always so rash...." His voice was soft as he spoke to her, holding her close. Yep, Arcadio to the rescue! ♪

Out of the corner of her eye, during the struggle she was having trying to force her fan downward onto her newest victim, she saw someone approaching the two. Who would be so foolish as to get in the way of a fight as serious as this? Mere humans wouldn’t be able to stop her from fighting this Catman, Sky Flame User. But, when she locked eyes on the moving figure, they widened in realization that they weren’t just any other stranger human. This was someone she knew, and someone who had come to the rescue.

She didn’t need to be rescued.

There was a flash of light as the crescent attack had been aimed for the menace, and as Kai had been tugged by the back of her sweatshirt hood, her fan left her hands, shrinking back to its normal size in a flurry of cloud flames. Her eyes were stuck on the snow-haired male whom now was holding her, and her eyes lulled, eyelids slowly lowering. She snatched her fan away, pushing him away from her. “Now’s not the time. I don’t need you to rescue me, Arcadio.” She stood to her own two feet, extending her fan once more as she watched the catman contort his body so that he would practically loop horizontally through the crescent wave.

With a snap of her wrist, her fan was engulfed in a large condensation, and cloud flames licked at her bamboo fan once more. “So he came~” Cooed the Catman. She winced, looking over her shoulder as the wave of Snow Flames inched closer. It was fast, and how this man evaded the attack with such grace and flexibility showed that he was going to be quite the adversary. “You just stay out of this.” She spat harshly at Arcadio.

It seemed while one was warm and inviting, the other was cold and completely reclusive. Kai charged forward, her large fan now closed and held at her side, angled upwards. She charged straight for the large crescent of Snow Flames which had been produced by Arcadio’s weapon, a katana she had noticed, and swung her fan around her waist, opening it in the process. “Spirito di Potenziamento!” She chanted once more, this time, her wave of haze colliding with Arcadio’s attack. It doubled back, this time faster more of the waves swaying after it.

The Catman flipped backwards on his hands a few times, not letting his feet touch the ground each time he landed, just to increase the distance between them. He purred, affectionately rubbing his metallic cheek with his chrome paw, engulfed in orange flames. “Just you two~? I thought there would have been more past-lovers coming to your rescue~” He teased, and Kai immediately squinted as she landed on the tile floors, which were now crushed and destroyed. “Shut up!” She roared, unleashing another Spirito di Potenziamento from her fan.

The figure let out a mocking laugh as he reared his head backwards, his chest expanding. With a lunge forward, he let out a ferocious roar, completely eradicating the six crescents headed his way. Kai didn’t seem to hesitate, and clenched her fingers against the side of her fan once more. She tried to swing downwards again, this time, the man was too busy recoiling from his roar to even notice the fan above his head.

Thwap

Bamboo wasn’t the best thing to hurt steel, but with Kai’s force and “expertise” of her fan, she would be able to hold her own. She followed up with a few, graceful swings of her fan, knocking the figure onto his two feet, and she swung it around her waist as she stepped forward to follow through, knocking the Catman away with a baseball swing. The force knocked her back a bit, but she leaned over, her legs angled to keep her from sliding all the way back to Arcadio.

The Catman rolled and tumbled, falling to a stop. There he laid, still and motionless. Kai peered over her shoulder to see if Arcadio was still there. Maybe he wasn’t there in the first place? Maybe she was hallucinating? After all, what would he be doing here in a suit and trying to save her? She didn’t need saving; she was Kaikoku Koufu. She could handle her own.

Where did you put the child?” She demanded at the lifeless figure. She knew he was still alive: his flames hadn’t died out yet. He rose with a ghastly grin embedded in the faint glow of orange flames on his “mask.” His laughter echoed throughout the whole airport, slowly growing from a chuckle to a bellow, and it rose goosebumps on her skin. She stood there, staring at the hunched over figure. “You’re not as strong as you look.” He chastised her. Kai gritted her teeth and slammed her fan down into the ground. “Where is he!?” “GAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!

♪ She had become a big girl in every sense of the meaning. Arcadio hadn't even thought that his precious Kai-chan could have any type of dealings with the Mafia business, but here she was, fighting a catman with her overzealous fan and pompous attitude. How wrong was he in the aspect of her not being able to deal with what he was going through? What had she gone through whilst he was away? So much had happened in the years that passed and with this new development there was little doubt in his mind that a change would be needed. She too held a will much stronger than normal humans could imagine, then again this was Kai-chan, he would expect her will to be out of the ordinary.

Then a shove came, Kai-chan pushing him away. "What? but Kai-chan....." Stop her. He needed to stop her before she harmed herself. That was the only thing going through his mind as she took her fan, something that seemed quite dull in Arcadio's eyes. What could a fan do to this man?! "Arcadio-san! Please come in!" Another radio sequence, pressing the battle Arcadio listened lightly. "Go ahead.""Apparently this guy has some type of hostage situation going on. We talked to the woman from earlier and this cat-thief kidnapped a child." His eyes lowered, why would he do such a thing? Angrily Arcadio got back to his feet, blade wrapped in the light glow of his will. There was no way he'd allow this. Moving forward a step Arcadio stared plainly to the man before a yell crashed to his ears.

Stay outta it?! What!? This guy was obviously much higher on the scale than your normal criminal, there was no way he would merely STAY OUTTA IT. Not only that but his head boss had ordered him to look over this place and keep it under strict watch, there was no way in hell he'd deny an order from the big wig himself. Now this was getting entirely outta hand. If regular law enforcements showed themselves a lot of explaining would be involved and with his recent failure Arcadio would not allow this man to sully his record any further, so to put things blunt Arcadio would ignore Kai-chans shout...for the time being.

As his attack was sent back using her fan Arcadio watched with an interested look. She had some skill under her belt, more than some of his family members. "That doesn't change anything..." Muttering to himself. No matter what he couldn't let Kai-chan get harmed in this bout, but the way she was pulling things it seemed like it really didn't matter what he did. After his flames were redirected the catman simply dodged her attack, continuing to taunt after with very simple words. Such arrogance this man held. To silence him was Arcadio's job and silence was indeed needed.

Anger, that was the emotion which welled up deep inside. How dare he speak on such defiant terms. It seemed he was begging for a proper a** kicking! Arcadio took another step forward, his blade now growing in flame consumption from his now monstrous out-put. It seemed to reach heights Arcadio himself didn't know existed! "Such negligence in your words! There is no way I'd allow this to continue without me intervening!" His eyes wide with anger and a mixture of protection, wanting to stop Kai-chan from receiving any future wounds. His blade moved to his right size, starting to freeze over the ground beneath Arcadio's feet. This man would be for is trifling ways!

Then, silence. The man was knocked off his feet?! Kai-chan had done it! "........" But of course this was not over and slowly but surely the man rose once more, with that same look which was starting to disgust Arcadio. Again he spoke with bravado, saying things which stirred anger even further in the young man. In all his years his emotions hadn't stirred as much as they did now, all thanks to Kai-chan. After Kai-chan turned to eye him Arcadio gave her a mad look and if she checked his appearance you could tell he was highly upset about this entire matter. First she says stay outta this and then this happens? He'd never allow this to fall.

Suddenly his face went dark, thinking of the current situation. He would no longer listen to what Kai-chan said, this would all be one his shoulders now. Nodding to himself Arcadio moved forward at a moderate pace, footsteps echoing as the man let loose his laugh. "The child...if you do not give it up you will be killed. My men have this airport totally under their control. We have no issue with taking you down." Taking in the fact that the man had run here there was no doubt in his mind the child was somewhere in the large port. "I'm giving you no more than 10 seconds to make your choice and then you will be taken out without mercy." Even if Kai-chan told him otherwise he wouldn't listen, this man needed to be dealt with. ♪

You couldn’t possibly think that I would just surrender simply from you telling me to do so, would you?” The glowing man stretched casually, as if he had just woken from a cat nap. “Well,” He yawned, obviously not entertained by the trivial pursuit of these two fellow Dying Will Flame users. His dark eyes bore into the soul of the boy who was addressing him. He had a heart surrounded by a layer of ice; not wanting anyone to get hurt and wanting to protect himself from harm, which included preventing others to get close to him, emotionally. Such a person, to fight alone, and to then come and rescue this fellow isolated Cloud, it was just out of his nature.

If your men are all around, then why don’t you all just come and attack me at once? Wouldn’t that be much easier?” He knew the light-color haired boy wouldn’t fall for his trick, but he didn’t hesitate to continue with his taunting. His orange tail swayed back and forth behind him as he lunged forward and backwards, playfully. “Now, Kai-dear. Tell him just what he is getting himself into.

You shut up!” Kai roared, heaving her fan high above her head. She was bubbling beneath her barely-calm exterior, her dull eyelids staring with intense hatred for this man. The berry haired school girl had been pursuing this man, secretly, for about three months now, and she could never take him down. Each time, he seemed to have something different up his sleeve. “Arcadio!” She roared once more, this time her focus on the taller male who was advancing on Catman.

She didn’t need him to protect her: she wasn’t a little girl any more.

Then, since you put it like that,” The catman rose to his two feet before crossing his arms, which were enveloped by his Sky Flames. “Let’s count down, shall we? Ten…” Kaikoku gripped her fan tightly and rushed past Arcadio, barreling towards the man, her fan reared backwards. Turning quickly on her foot, she used the momentum from her run to bring her fan in a downward motion, slamming the perpetrator’s steel skull into the ground. Quickly opening her fan, she stepped forward, waving it heavily as a vicious wind kicked up, and the man was torn from the ground, being sent up into the battering winds. She waved it a few more times with difficulty before she found the rhythm and swung it rapidly. The winds swirled around in a haze about the man, and, while he was up in the air, he simply continued to count.

Nine…

Where is he?!” Kai pulled her fan backwards, heaving it forward with great force. It split the air in two and tore right through the space between her and the Catman. With her hands extended, she motioned in which direction the fan would go, her figure being outlined in a dull purple hue. The ring on her finger was pumping out more cloud flames than it had been prior, but she didn’t seem to be stressed by the load. Looking over her shoulder at Arcadio, she gritted her teeth in anger as the fan took many approaches to attack the guy in mid-air, who only replied with an “Eight…

Arcadio! You can’t fight him! I won’t let you!” She shouted before the fan arrived behind the Catman, angled to be on a line with both she and the opponent. The fan waved and sent a massive wind barreling into the back of the Catman again, as if these winds would cause his steel to wither away. “Seven…” The wind tore straight down for them both, but Kai did not move as it came hurtling down towards them. She could withstand the winds, Arcadio, however, hadn’t been so conditioned.

The explosion of the collision would have sent him flying away, but if he proved to have some kind of protection against it, she wouldn’t have anything to repel him. The Catman fell to the tiled floor with a heavy thud, and there he laid, still as ever. However, his flames were still roaring. “Six… Oh, this is getting boring. Why don’t we just skip to zero?

A blood curdling scream could be heard from Arcadio’s headset, and, whoever it was on the other side, was slurring words into Arcadio’s ear, frantic with pain and fear. “A-Arcadio-san! Th-The woman! She’s—AHH! The child!” The communication had been cut short, but another soon picked up, “Arcadio-san, get out of there, right now! It’s a—” The receiver produced another blood-curdling scream as one of his sources had been killed. Kai couldn’t hear much of what had happened, but she heard screams, even if he was about fifteen feet away from her. The echoing throughout the whole airport wasn’t that hard to miss.

What did you do!?” The female rushed forward again, but this time, she didn’t get far enough to pull her fan over her head before the figure vanished in a bark of flames before her eyes. Reappearing to her side, he held a paw to Kai’s throat, practically immobilizing her from the overwhelming presence of his flames. “Hmm…” He chuckled lightly, staring right into the eyes of Arcadio. “You didn’t think I’d come alone, did you? And for you to interfere in such trivial matters is such a waste of my time…” The man squeezed tighter on the girl’s neck, and Kai gasped for a breath. Dropping her fan, she fell to her knees before falling forward, face-first into the small crater that had formed when he fell to the ground.

I’ll be going now.” The catman twirled in his funnel of flames, and they dissipated into thin air, as fire would once its source of oxygen ran out. The woman would disappear in the same manner, and a few of the other people left behind in the airport would as well. The only thing was, though, that some of Arcadio’s men had been taken out from these accomplices. And, unfortunately for him, Arcadio was now entangled in a whole ‘nother mess.

Kai breathed heavily as she struggled to remove herself from the crater, but she was so weak that she rolled into it, unable to open her eyes to stare at the ceiling from her back. This was just like any other time she had faced the man, but, this time, she had an actual distraction that she could blame. Damnit, Arcadio…

♪ The man seemed to have many more tricks up his sleeve than Arcadio would realize and as time went on he expected to see more and more of them. "You have no choice in the matter! Stop speaking as if you have an advantage!" Those were the words which sprang forth from Arcadio's mouth as he stared plainly over to the man, eyes meeting his with the same tenacity if not more. Did he really think Arcadio was simply going to let him get away just like that?! Failing was not an option in this case and letting this man run about freely was also out of question so in response Arcadio prepared to attack..though he really didn't have the chance.

"I have no need for my men! I am the only one needed to rip you apart!"
With a fierce tone he spoke, letting his flames continue to rise in power. It seemed this battle was helping Arcadio in the long run, though he hadn't really done much. Then the man spoke to Kai-chan, as if the two of them had known each other for a long time. Well Arcadio didn't know the situation so perhaps this was an ongoing thing...maybe..maybe he was the one in the way? His eyes wandered over to Kai-chan with confusion lacing his gaze, what exactly was going on here!

In all his time of being in the Mafia Arcadio had never come to a point where he was this confused. Kai-chan had the ability to produce flames, they were in an air-port battling a cat-man over a hostage situation and apparently this had been going on for quite some time. How did things even come to this? How would he tell his boss of what occurred here later on? Then, suddenly, Kai-chan yelled his name, stopping any advances he was to make. "What!? You see what he's plotting! I won't just stand by and let you fight alone!!!" Yelling right back at her with the same tone, how could he allow his precious Kai-chan to do such a thing?! The ice in which he held, to freeze over those who caused harm to anyone who advanced on his family...that was the reason Arcadio fought. At the same time he'd keep anyone dear to him from getting in harms way and this man was something harmful indeed.

He had to protect her, it was just that simple!

Watching the man Arcadio gritted his teeth, preparing to strike with another blast of pure freezing flames. This man would fall to his icy wrath! "Take thi-" Cut off once more by Kai-chan dvancing towards the man Arcadio had no choice but to watch from afar! This wasn't happening....this couldn't have been happening. It must have been stress induced! "Kai-chan! Stop!" Her fighting this man would get nowhere, she should just let him handle it.

Her attacks were well placed and hard but they seemed to do little to the man as he continued with his taunts. How much power did he hold to be taking such blows and getting right back up afterward!? Or maybe it was the latter. Perhaps Kai-chan was too weak to hurt him? "Exactly why I should be the one fighting!" Arcadio thought to himself as the two continued to combat one another, a mad gust of wind rushing downwards toward him. A shield of snow flames came up almost instantly, protecting Arcadio from the wind, such was his advancement in handling his inner strength. After that came something Arcadio wasn't expecting, a scream. "What!? Come in! Hello??!? Guys come in!?" Dead....they were all dead. He could tell just by looking at the cat fiend not to far away.

"You b*****d..." Arcadio said silently to himself, rage building up inside. His comrades had fallen because he'd listen to Kai-chan and stayed outta this fight. If he'd done it his way this would have never happened! "You...I'll...I'll kill you!" Arcadio braced himself to run forward, holding his blade downward as he prepared an attack...that was when is precious jewel was grabbed. "Tch!" Stopping dead in his tracks at the sight as Arcadio didn't want Kai-chan to get any more hurt than she already was. Watch...that was all he could do and that was the only thing he'd done this entire time.

Then, as if this were a magic show, the man poofed into thin air, taking his leave. "How....where..." Where did he go? His questions would not be answered as everything went silent, the man taking his leave. Again...time and time again. Arcadio had failed his mission once more. Not thinking of that now however he rushed over to Kai-chan, placing his blade in his sheath whilst coming to her side as she fell. His eyes filled with worry and rage at the current situation. ".........." Taking out his phone Arcadio dialed a number, it ringing before a woman spoke. "Ume...send a squad for clean up, I have a lot to tell everyone when I return. Also we'll be needing a memorial service set up......" His voice was low but the woman at the other end heard every word before asking the unknowing question of 'What happened?'. "I failed...again.." With that he hung up his phone, looking down to Kai-chan.

".........."
He didn't know what exactly to say to her or even what to think. "...........My team will be here shortly to do some clean up. I would like to take you back to my headquarters for a check up and healing. Plus....we really need to catch up on some things.." That was all he could say as he awaited a reply, not wanting to touch her as she might not be in the best of moods. Hell, arcadio sure wasn't. ♪

Every time it ended up like this. Here she was, laying on her back, defeated, and yet, she couldn't believe it. It was like a broken record. No matter how her other battles turned out [most of which were victories on her part], she always lost to this man. A cough shook her body as she rocked forward a bit, trying to sit upward.

Her efforts were futile, and she only could lay right back down in her little crater bed. She heard the voice of the man who was so stern to not listen to her, but he had done as she had told him. For the most part, that is. He was a big distraction; she didn't want him getting hurt. She knew he was a Dying Will Flame User, sure, but had he been conditioned to fight such a foe? Kaikoku had greater experience with this particular male, and she knew more than she would let him know.

For now, she just had to get away from him.

"No..." She groaned, peeling her eyes open for no more than two seconds before closing them and stirring in the crater. She rolled over onto her side, sweat and dirt and scratches all over her once-flawless skin. They would heal, the scratches would, and the dirt and sweat were just as easy to wash from her person. Her berry hair clung to her cheeks as she struggled to roll over onto her side, where she coughed, spat, and repeated, the second time producing blood in her saliva.

Clearing her throat, she sat hunched in the hole before heaving herself onto her knees. Grabbing at her now-miniature weapon, she opened it, a quick inspection, and then closed it before sliding it into her--

Her sweatshirt. She had forgotten that she had taken it off before she followed after the man. It was her comfort in battle, however, she knew that she was more than certainly going to damage it in this bout. Rubbing at her bare neck, the girl looked right, in the opposite direction of Arcadio, not giving him so much as a glance. She was defeated, and she didn't want his pity. Up she rose from the crater, her emotions perfectly hidden behind her dull expression. It looked as though she had just woken from a nap, completely undisturbed, of course.

Once she got to her feet, a little weak in the knees, she dusted herself off before walking in the direction that she had chased the Catman from. "And, you can tell your team that, next time you decide to play hero, they can just stop you right there." She clenched her teeth and her fan tightly, tears welling in the corners of her eyes as she walked away from the Snow Guardian of the Seizonsha family.

Well, she did want to catch up on things, but she... she wasn't sure just how she felt about the whole thing right now. Frustrated was a good word to fit.

♪ Right now Arcadio was filled with so much anger that he didn't know exactly where to place it or even how to let it out. The only person in front of him was a girl whom had just gotten herself beaten to a bloody mess and what was the use in him yelling at her? There was no point in the matter whatsoever. Still, she insisted on going against his wishes once more which caused some of this rage to leak out. "Stop it! Your hurt! Acting as if nothing just happened won't make anything better!" That's right, Arcadio was tired of this odd sense of unknowing even though he was doing the same to her. Explaining everything that had happened since his leave....that would be the toughest thing of all for him.

Again she tried to act as if she were fine, though hacking up blood made nothing better in his opinion. As she began to stand up Arcadio stood as well, getting even angrier by her not looking in his direction. His eye twitched slightly from the build and this was more than he could take...he was only trying to help and this was the thanks he'd get?! Like hell he was going to take this from her!

Then she spoke something about his team...speaking of them..they were dead now. Dam it! How could Arcadio let this happen!?! Who was this cat man and why was he so god damn strong?! In order for him to find all that out he needed Kai-chan to stay...not only for information......but...he kinda...missed her. Still she paid him little mind however and talked off into the opposite direction as if he didn't exist. How much did she want to piss him off?! Getting to his feet, standing with a aura which would freeze over even the hottest flame Arcadio made his way over to Kai-chan, walking around her before stopping in her face, staring plainly with his eyes open. You could tell with that icy stare he gave his mood was no better than hers, perhaps even worst.

"You...you...." Stammering, it was rather hard to speak when you were as distressed as Arcadio was. "Playing hero? Is that what you call it? PLAYING ******** HERO?!?! Playing is for children and if you haven't noticed I'm not one anymore! It seems like you fail to understand just how much damage has been done to not only you...but me.." His voice began to trail off, eyes losing their icy sheen. He couldn't stop, he had a lot of emotion pent up. "My men are dead, there was a kidnapping and an a lo-....an old friend of mine has been hurt. Don't you dare sit here and act like I don't exit or treat me like I'm a child." Scolding him, yelling at him, telling him to sit back. How could she say such things to him?! "........Kai-chan I don't know why but.....it seems like there's a wall that's been built between us." A wall? More like a solid block of ice crafted from Arcadio's own worries. ♪

And there was a smog of clouds that were completely enveloping Kaikoku. She wasn't staggering in any directions, was she? No, so what made him think she was in such a condition that he could simply whisk her away to his base and take care of her like some tarnished prize? As he careened before her, she stopped dead in her tracks, staring into his eyes. His fury and anger and frustration was easily readable. Ice was melting from his core.

His words punched her in the chest, knocking what little wind she had from her lungs. She clenched her fists at her side, squinting as his recollection and epiphanies came out, a tone that she didn't need lashing at her. What was it that he expected? That she would simply comply with his demands, that she'd admit defeat so easily? There was a reason that she didn't want Arcadio dealing with this man, and that was because he was completely out of his league.

No matter what he was capable of.

As swift as Arcadio could have blinked his eyes, tears welled in the corners of her eyes, and an opened hand came flying, stinging against the surface of his left cheek. She pouted slightly, her tears welling more until they overflowed. "I don't believe you!" She shouted, practically ready to tear his head off until she had realized who he was.

"Your men are dead because he's way out of your league! You just waltz right in and try to take over things like you know what's going on! You haven't the slightest clue as what hell I have gone through in the past months, and you're calling me a hero!" She seethed, wiping at the corner of her eye with her still-closed fist. The other hand joined it in its balled manner once more before she continued, leaving a remaining stream of salt water down her other cheek. "You're not a child, sure, but you are sure as hell not a man! If you want to protect someone, maybe you should learn how to not make a fool of yourself!" She roared. Her cloud flames had stopped spouting, and her ring had completely stopped glowing.

There was a light gust of wind and her hair danced lightly in the breeze. The dim purple hue on her hand soon vanished, and she clenched her jaw tightly, looking away before looking him square in the eyes, and she bit on her upper lip before snarling once more, this time in a gruff voice, unlike the ones she had been speaking before.

"The only ******** wall here is the one you've built." And with that, she stepped forward to shove him out of the way, walking a few feet away before the tears flowed so much that they trickled from her chin and showered the floor beneath her. She didn't want a thing to do with Arcadio anymore. She was tired, defeated, and exhausted, and she just completely felt worthless. Not even the attention of a million men would have made her feel any better.

Then again, she always did feel like he was worth more than a million men to her.
