Ah, aside from hetalia, a series that's good for this is humon's "Scandinavia and the World" on deviantart.

Humon comics are great indeed. And, I supose she must have at least heard about hetalia, since she made two comics referencing it. (one in wich her scandinavian nations wear hetalia's nordics hats.).
Anyway, I highly recomend it.
