Occupations

(This is OPTIONAL)

Occupations are, essentially, what your character specialises in. In real life, people have different jobs, play a part different role in the economy, and here it is the same.

Mechanic



Mechanics are the computer geniuses and inventors. They are the ones who make the box weapons, the box animals, and they serve as a pillar of support for their family. When weapons are broken, they fix it; when the family needs to raid a rival family's headquarters, they invent various gadgets to help them.

All box weapons and animals (excluding your starter one) MUST be made by a mechanic of your same rank, otherwise it will not be able to withstand your flames.

Mechanics must rp their process of making weapons or inventions, and not just magic them out of nowhere.

C-Rank Box weapons take 300 words total to create.
A or S-Rank Box Weapons/animal take 600 words total to create.
Storage Boxes depend on what will be stored in the box.
Box Alterations depend on what the alteration will be.
Mechanics CANNOT make box weapons for other people's characters without permission. E.g. you cannot make 3 box weapons for an F rank. You CAN make a box weapon for a C rank if he/she has only one box.

Mechanics can make storage boxes, but they must be approved. (e.g. Yamamoto's box which releases a surge of water, or Ryohei's box which stores a Sun flame rope.)

Any alterations to boxes (after permission is granted) MUST be done by a mechanic.

Doctor

In the mafia world, the wounded do not go to the hospital for fear that too many questions will be asked, or that the police will snatch the chance to arrest them while they are lying in the hospital bed. For this reason, families have doctors which they can trust, and recuperate within the safety of their hideouts.

The doctors of this guild are those who have the Sun dying will flame, and with their affinity of activation they can speed the body's protein synthesis and cell regeneration speed. This only applies if their weapon is a healing type, not an offensive type (like Ryohei's scalpel).

You must have a doctor to heal your injuries, or leave them and let them heal at a much slower rate and risk death. You CANNOT randomly enter a hospital and describe how NPC doctors treat you, because that would make no sense as you would be arrested at first sight.

Pilot

Pilots get to drive private jet planes, helicopters, and anything else you can think of. They are the only people in the guild who have a license to fly. In reality, members of the mafia rarely go on common aeroplanes for fear of being arrested, hence the reason they have private jet planes and pilots of the mafia.


And because I thought being a pilot was cool...

Translator

Obviously, if one goes to a foreign country without speaking a single word of that language, a translator would be greatly appreciated. It is not unheard of for a translator to speak three or more languages, and when negotiating with foreign parties, translators are needed to overcome language barriers. Translators are often the advisors of families, acting as a bridge to link the family to parties in foreign countries.

Vendice

Vendice

Also commonly referred to as Vendicare, these are the masked guards who protect the laws of the Mafia World. Their reputation among the Mafia World precedes them, as they are known to show no mercy even to devils, it is clear they attract a great deal of fear, as one of the Millefiore's Soldiers stated before heading off to the Prison that he was not coming back alive.

In the guild, the Vendice are those who can wield the dying will flame but choose to arrest the wrong doers of the Mafia world - those who break the law and code of honour for their own self gain. They are greatly feared by all mafia members, and rightfully so.

The Vendice have special chains that restrain the dying will flames, so once they manage to clasp their chains around their victim, the fight is over and they can take their criminal to the Vendicare Prison.

Vendice also has mechanics, doctors, translators and pilots.

If you choose to be a member of Vendice, you can wield one extra weapon - the dying will restraining chains.
