How to Get Stronger

Since rank plays a heavy role in the Reborn world, it would play an important part in this guild as well. Ranks are calculated using stats, which are accumulated through various word counts.

You can gain skill points through:
1) Training
2) Sparring
3) Fighting

When doing any of the three mentioned above, post a word count at the bottom of your post. The more you type DURING training, sparring or fighting, the more skill points you can gain from them.

For every 100 words you type, you gain 1 skill point.

E.g. If I have a 100 word training post, I get 1 skill point. If I have a 200 word fighting post, I get 2 skill points.

At higher ranks, you need to type more to get skill points.

At B rank, for every 200 words you type, you gain 1 skill point.

At A rank, for every 300 words you type, you gain 1 skill point.

At S rank, for every 500 words you type, you gain 1 skill point.

You do NOT gain skill points through normal everyday rps, which would make sense because in real life, you only get stronger through training, sparring or fighting. You obviously don't get any stronger if you sit and chat with your friends.

Make sure to keep a word count, it will be needed when the Mods update your profile.

Your Skill Points

Now that you have some skill points, you can distribute them to any of the following:

Agility: How fast you can move in a fight
Power: How buff you are
Stamina: How long you can last in a fight and how much pain you can take
Resistance: How well you can resist illusions

The strength and purity of your flames will be based on your total skill points, and obviously the more you train/spar/fight, the stronger and purer your flames will be.

Example:
Skill points - 36
Agility - 20
Power - 5
Stamina - 5
Resistance - 6

Here we have someone who is extremely agile and fast, but at the same time weak and won't last two minutes in a fight, not to mention he or she would be easily affected by illusions.


Example 2:
Skill points - 36
Agility - 5
Power - 20
Stamina - 6
Resistance - 5

Here we have someone who is incredibly buff, but at the same time incredibly slow so he or she would not be able to react as fast to attacks. He or she would not be able to last long in a fight without getting out of breath, won't stand against pain very well, and would easily fall to illusions.


Example 3:
Skill points - 36
Speed - 5
Power - 5
Stamina - 6
Resistance - 20

Here we have someone who is incredibly strong against illusions, and would probably be an illusionist. This person has horrible physical attributes, but is well suited to illusions.

To cast an illusion successfully, your resistance must be higher than theirs.

After each training/fighting/sparring session, post the link to the profile update thread, as well as the total word count.

Ranks

In this guild, the different rankings are sorted according to skill points.

20 - 30 : F rank
31 - 40 : E rank
41 - 50 : D rank
51 - 60 : C rank
61 - 90 : B rank
90 - 200 : A rank
201 + : S rank

Since S rank does not exist in Reborn, I decided to make one uber strong rank, and of course uber strong ranks would have uber strong people blaugh hence the seemingly unreachable 201 skill points.

Your Box Weapon and You

F rank
1 box weapon
You start out with...your starter, boring box weapon. The box has to be a weapon, no animals yet. You can make advanced abilities, but they will have to be unlocked through later ranks. For now, at F rank, you are essentially a sitting duck blaugh Yes I'm being mean, and yes I'm high on caffeine while typing this. Don't ask.

C rank
+1 box weapon
You can now have a second box weapon, which will still have to be a WEAPON. You are now a waddling duck instead of a sitting duck blaugh

A rank
+1 box ANIMAL OR WEAPON
(Animal can undergo Cambio Forma)
Woot, you finally get the box animal that you have laid awake in bed dreaming about. Your animal will have to be a real life animal. I don't mind dinosaurs, but please, no dragons and griffins and angels. They have to be ANIMALS. Or of course, you can make another boring box weapon. Oh, and you're now a swimming duck instead of a waddling duck blaugh

S rank
+1 box ANIMAL OR WEAPON

+1 flame type
Booyah! You're finally at the ultimate super rank blaugh You can choose to have another box animal (like Yamamoto with Jiro and Kojiro) or another box weapon. Or, you can choose to have another flame type, which will act as a sub-flame and will not be as strong as your main one. However, you can combine two flames to create ultimate super attacks, like Gokudera.

If you get another flame type, you CAN alter your weapons and get them approved by mods, to suit your fancy new flames.

If you get another animal, you CAN undergo 2 Cambio Formas at the same time.

Oh, and you are now a flying duck instead of a swimming duck blaugh
