I want to rant...LET'S START SHALL WE? Why is it that when you shoot somethings Like Fawkes with a mini nuke and it doesn't die, IT'S A MINI NUKE FOR CHRISTS SAKE, like a hiroshima nuke, but a smaller one, and that could kill anything! And why is it that i get gang raped by deathclaws and fawkes gets stuck behind a rock half way across the map?.. AAAAAAAAAND in megaton why do they have a guy named stockholm up in the tower if he we can't get to him??? How does he eat? And PEE, And do the other thing?? I just wanna know..WHY????

I didn't have Fawkes with me for long since I hate having a partner tag along by my side. Maybe he can withstand the mini-nuke because he absorbs the INTENSE RADIATION through his thick skin ._.

Fawkes in radiation resistant, but Charon is supposed to be too and he accidentally got in the way of a mini and got killed, so it DOESN'T make sense at all!

Aurora Sonata Charon is more delicate than Fawkes.
Definitely more delicate. Charon's slowly rotting; Fawkes has super thick (almost impenetrable) skin.
With him being stuck behind a rock halfway across the map, OHMAHGAH I hate that crap. When I was playing Point Lookout, Desmond got stuck in a utility closet... With the door open... *facepalm*

THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS:
Game physics, Fallout has them all f*cked up .__. I mean, in Point Lookout DLC, I fire with a damn Tri-Beam Laser Rifle at those Tribals, AND YET I NEED TO SHOOT THEM 5 TIMES, AND ALL THEY HAVE IS A LOINCLOTH O__O

He's a super mutant with the stamina of a behemoth, he got that way through radiation, if he can survive the amount of radiation it must of taken to make him that way obviously he'll survive a nuke, hell he can survive a blast from the gun that fire's 12 mini nukes.
Besides why would you want to kill him? You need him to save your a**.

I only take Fawks if i ever storm a big place, like the Adams Air field, Capotal Hill, places like that...but i don't like thi huge clonking mutant to cut down on my hearing, i hear alot of things, like distant explosions, footsteps, scitching, gunshots...yatta yatta, and only Charon is good enough, he is very quiet, and can totaly pwn anyone with his awsomesauce shotgun/rifle thingy!
Dogmeat? Don't get me started on that dumb a**...
