That, indeed, is the question six teenagers ask themselves.
Each of them want to be popular, some more popular than they already are. Each of them receive a dare: Go to the Beverly Mansion on 4th Street, and stay there for a night. In return, those six teenagers will get the rest of the year, and maybe more, to bathe in the popularity. No one will get hurt. No one will be scared. No one will be in danger, right? Wrong.
What they do not know is that evils, six ghosts lay in the shadows. They have waited so long to have company besides themselves, and now that time has come. Each of the ghosts takes a special intrest in one of the students, and the follow that poor boy or girl. Some do not make trouble, and some chuck plates at the heads of their victims.
The bolts locked with a click behind the six students. The shutters snapped shut, and the locks on the windows would not budge. They were locked in.
