Jeremy silently read War and Peace on the private jet, the trip was long, and he was only alowed to bring a book and his spear on the plane. He figured out why, his brother were going to give Rich and him one last test before the went to Shaman School... He sighed, hoping that his guess as to what the test was was off. As he turned the las page of the book he looked at his friend, a young mexican boy with jet black hair and a smile that gave you the impression he was a troublemaker. The two had been friends a long time, way before Rich was one of the cool kids, and the b*****d still hung out with him... Always trying to get him a girlfriend or becoming popular, Rich was a good friend. And he forced him into being a shaman. He remembered the torture well, and he remembered Rich finding him, he had a wild look in his eye... ****ing Mariners... He couldn't remember the date as well but afterwards Rich described his blind date as a rich ****. He grinned, although he was depressed that he forced his friend into being a shaman at least now he wouldn't be lonely at the new school for gifted shaman... He knew that the gifted one was Rich whose Furyoku far surpassed his own, but it was nice to tag along. Unfortunately his friend's parents couldn't afford a nice apartment like Jeremy's dad who's a lawyer that's spirit is the Norse god of Law could afford. So Jeremy switched who would be going to what appartment. He didn't deserve the fancy one, but Rich sure as hell did. His spirit ally, Gailan, appeared out of nowhere. The Orca was serious, strong-looking, and intelligent. He was the greatest hunter in his pack's history. Due to... interesting circumstances Jeremy was his master. "Master, did you hear that?" He said seriously, his eyes were sharp as a blade. "Yep, the plane's breaking. Damned brother can't think of an original challenge, can he?" Gailan and Jeremy looked at each other, they were already preparing an oversoul in perfect sync.
Richard hoped that the place they ere going was warm. He knew Jeremy didn't care but Jeremy wore jeans and a tee-shirt during winter training on scandanavia. When he wore a shirt, the crazy b*****d actually perferred the cold. Rich thought about this as the plane came apart and he came crashing down. As they fell Jeremy and Gailan had immediately created an oversoul on the spear tha was strapped on his back. The whales fins served as a kind of wing that he would use to glide down. He needed to come up with a way to live, fast. His spirit ally Rocca, the smooth golem-rock appeared becide him. Looking at the young shaman with eyes made of emeralds. Rich stared at it for a seocond and nodded. For a piece of rock the thing had good ideas. He pulled out his mdieval flail and let his ally slide into the ball part of the flail and sat at an area in between the now giant spikes with bigger spaces, enough for Rich to stand between. Rocca sent a message to Rich almost telepathically Brace for impact. We're about to hit the ground. Rich grinned calmly, and said, "The ground better brace for us." They landed with a crash, and Rich wason top of the giant boulder of Rocca(enlarged with furyoku) and holding the flail with a smirk. Jeremy glided next to the boulder and smiled lazily.
Rich wa son the ground, and Rocca was normal size in seconds. Jeremy smiled laxly and looked around. They were in a large green field that spread for at least two miles. The pilot(a friend of his dad) was flying away on a dragon spirit, and the two had to find the school. The sun was setting, and they had no food but Jeremy felt good, he felt that something was going to happen. "Master, I know where the general direction of our destination is. Should we hurry?" Jeremy shook his head, "Nah, I'd like to take my time." Rich shook his head at Jeremy's direction. His relaxed nature was why he was always late.. That and his ability to get lost as fast as possible. He'd be late for school tomorrow But at least they were off the damned plane.

Yuki stood in the middle of her family large Japanese garden, her dull gray eyes were close as she tided her grip on her katana, a small breezes moved her long raven hair over her shoulder, and small leaves flouting around her, her eyes snapped open and swiftly with newly sharp katana, she liced ever leaf that had fallen from the trees around her. Yuki put her Katana away “ perfect as always miss Shadou “ a tall light blond hair man said as he held out a towel for her “ thank you Kyo-nii and its Yuki not Miss Shadou “ she said as she walked over to him. Kyo was her bodygaurd as well her big brother, at lest to Yuki he was. Yuki family had picked Kyo up off the streets and raside him as one of there own. “ I’ll remember that but I believe you need to try training harder , why not put on a blind fold “ he said, Kyo was very close to Yuki, he been watching over her since he was ten, and she eight. He could read her like a book. “I’ve already done that today “ she said pouting a bit “Well then I will train with you” Kyo said as he pulled out his own Katana and walked to the middle of the garden. Both he and Yuki had been trained in the art of sword fighting, and both had powerful spirit guardians “Ray Time to train “he said as blue water dragon appeared around him. Kyo and Ray had always been together even before he came to live with the Shadou family so he had no trouble reading his gaurdian “ Yu, Kyo wish to train with us ‘ she said as her guardians appeared, a giant fire bird a Phoenix. “ water vs. fire “ Yuki said “ tsk I’ll settle the score this time Yuki” Kyo said “ I like to see you try “ Yuki replied “ then I’ll show You “ Kyo smirked and quickly attacked. They trained for hours until both could no longer stand “ Kyo-nii do I have to go to that shaman school “ Yuki asked well catching her breath, she didn’t like being around others, she didn’t trust people she only trusted her family and Kyo who was to her family. “ unfortunate yes we have to go” kyo replied he was looking forward to going to the school, being able to fight other shaman and get stronger “ lets go you need to sleep before school tomorrow “ he said as he got up and helped Yuki up so that they both could get ready

Ashton walked amongst the graveyard quietly his scythe in his one hand as he leaned it across his shoulders. It was a long trek through the extraordinarily large memorial which had seen much death of men who were sentenced to a severe penalty for they're crimes. He had traveled through the cemeteries gates remembering the words of the gravedigger who let him pass.
"You're a fool if you are going to come to pay your respects to the dead at this hour." he said his words were more of fear and caution than insults "Haven't you heard the terrible tales? The horrors of what happens in this place after dark?" he continued. Ashton laughed "Don't you be worrying about me, Old timer" he said, his smile wide from ear to ear like a Cheshire cat, bizarrely cheerful even under these circumstances. "I told you before i'm-" the gravedigger interrupted before he could pronounce his title as a "shaman" "Yes, yes I know your a friendly Exorcist who just happened to be trundling along until you saw this place." the old man as he was fumbling along with his keys eyed the young man top to bottom. "You should even be glad I even believe you, what with you being so young and all" he said he finally found the right key and put it into the gates keyhole. He turned the key and then opened the rusty gate with a loud squeak. Anyway kid, like I said before I'll pay you a good sum of cash if you can get rid of the murderous ghost that has been lurking in this graveyard. he said as he closed the gate behind him as Ashton walked through. As he locked the door behind him he yelled back as Ashton left "And kid!" he said "Please be careful, I don't want to have to be digging another ditch.
"Crazy old man." he thought"If only he knew..." he looked at the gravestones that all were lit by the dim moon light. He continued to send his gaze wearily about the scene "Do you see anything Azrael?" he asked. The beautiful angel of Death had appeared from behind her master "No, I sense no evil aura coming from anywhere" she said casually floating above him. Then suddenly a rustle in the brush. Immediately Ashton turned, swinging his scythe in a fighters stance, to face whatever was behind him. *Mreow* was the reply of a small black kitten licking his paws and rolling across the dirt playfully. He sighed and then put his scythe casually back on his shoulders. Azrael chuckled "Perhaps we should give up hunting demons and go into services as animal control" she teased going up to the kitten and gently petting it with incorporeal fingers. The kitten not fearing she was a ghost gently batted it's paws at person it could not touch. Ashton had rolled his eyes"Come on" he said then wandered farther to the cemetery. Azrael followed soon after while the kitten ran back in the brush.
After a long trip into the cemetery he began to see fires and hear strange beating sounds. Chanting began and he realized what was truly going on. "Cultists" he said to himself"These guys have been sacrificing animals to... something."he said he sounded angry"We should kill these bastards." Azrael immediately intervened "That is not the way of a true man of God. she whispered soothingly "They will get whats coming to them by the law, but we shall not enforce it by killing them, we shall subdue them."He nodded looking at her "We better he said" then dashed down toward them "Wait! Dammit boy!" she said too late to stop the heroic youth. Ashton looked at the scene he realized that some of these guys could see spirits apparently and that a demon began to rise from the grave to kill a kitten. Immediately as he combined with Azrael jumping in midair his scythe ready to strike. "Rule one jerk" he said all of the men had barely enough time to turn they're head before it was all too late. "no one harms kittens while we're around" the fight was over before it even started.
Few hours later the old man heard a bang at the ancient looking fence. He sighed "How stupid of me to make a child do such a thing? Poor kid must be scared..." the old man thought as he came and opened the door for the boy a look of shock masked his face. "So old man..." he smiled as he had cuffed four beaten punks that he had cuffed together and held a tiny kitten in his hand"How much were you gonna pay me again? Oh yeah and call the authorities"
After the man had given him money Ashton thanked him then ran immediately without confronting the police. He looked at the nice amount of cash he gave him "Perfect!" he exclaimed"Just enough for the plane tickets to fly me over to that shaman school" he said "We best hurry." Azrael said "The plane may take off soon and remember you have a promise to fulfill" she said quietly. "Yup" he said cheerfully while stroking the cute black kitten "like I promised I will become the greatest shaman who ever lived" he said triumphantly marching to his hotel room to prepare.

Selgrette Censtav laid on a dieing patch of grass, staring up at the tree's branches. The wind gusted over her face, her hair reacting by wiping along with the wind until is covered her face again. She didn't say anything, for it was rather rather the dead tree she was interested in. She tapped her feet together subconsciously, and closed her eyes. To the common eye, she was a bored girl, about to return home when supper time drew. However, she didn't have a home made of layered brick and concrete. She was already home.
A young-looking boy stood over her. He had obscured but pointed teeth, and shaggy dark hair that blew over his eyes in the wind. His body was cloaked in a robe adorned with runic patterns and wore tattoos across his face, limbs, and back. His arms hung by his side, looking down at Selgrette, then out to the horizon. "You should get going. It won't be long until you need to make haste in time for the opening of the school," he murmered. Selgrette's eyes meerly fluttered in response. She knew that Njieshcovarn, her partner, always was a timely person and made sure of calculations. "Hmm... I can always make it through your gateways. I know that you know of making your own 'portals'," Selgrette muttered audibly. She dusted herself off as she got up. With a neutral expression, she glanced at the lowering sun, much to her eyes' bother. She knew Njieshcovarn was right, it was time to prepare.
