Hi!
While I was posting on another topic, the door rang. One of the neighbours here (a tiny little nit of a woman in the middle of her mid-life crisis, by the look of her) was standing there all pumped up about my bike being tied out "in her way" when she has to carry large packages, since it was inadvertently next to a flower pot stand (the landlady's by the way; I'm a student living in a sublet apartment) that does admittedly make moving around the inner balcony of the flat a bit harder. However, it would not overly inconvenience a large man. She demands I take it away immeadately, huffing and insulting.
This sort of behaviour always pushes the wrong buttons with me.
Now on our floor there are two other people whose bikes are trussed out that same as ours. I ask her if that would be to her royal liking (not in those words),a question she kept interrupting with more and more stupid remarks and threats.
She kicks the flower stand and makes remarks about how loud-mouthed I am for someone who doesn't even have her own house.
And to top it all off, once I move the bike a little way of, so that it isn't next to the stand, which, I again admit was careless, she comes back with the "large packages" to pass through ever so precariously: a tiny little stool...
I ask you: what can a person do about such people?
Not I much, I'm afraid. But the woman is seriously unstable, if you ask me. But it makes a person annoyed, angry, insulted, sad, tired, depressed, etc...just plain bad, even though it isn't worth it. Stupid thing obviously is plenty happy about her own worthless life if she feels a need to b***h about.
Sorry about having to relate this, but, well, I had to get it off my chest somehow, or I might slap the b***h in the face next time I see her/it.
