[[This is something I wrote as a homework piece for my english class when we were reading "The House on Mango Street" I forgot the author of the book ^_^;;]]

I want to be
A tree that stands strong,
A tiger that has no fear,
A wolf that protects its pack.

I want to be
Like a sapling free to grow,
Like a forest not stained by Man,
Like a river that flows freely,
And washes away its past.

I want to be
Like a rock that cannot be moved ,
Like the wind that travels everywhere,
Like the sea that’s full of life,
Like a fire that controls itself,
And allows new lives to be born
In the areas that it destroyed
When it lost control
