The third boat has not docked yet, and it is assumed they will land somewhere on the south beach this afternoon. Your objective: patrol the beaches and spring an attack on the assassin and his (presumably) six soldiers when they land, and stop them from attacking Balamb!

Shiro arrived at the south gate, waiting for the rest of his team. He wasn't just waiting there like an ordinary person would though, as he had taken it upon himself to climb to the top of the gate to get a better vantage point. "Hmmm...."

Antigone arrives not long after Shiro, having been headed that way anyway. She spots him up on the gate and furrows her eyebrows in confusion. "Uh.. hey? What are you doin?" she asks, standing below him.

Leaning agenst the gate. Looking to Antigon when she spoke. "Hes looking out for any body. I dont like this how ever. If an assassin would need to kill somebody. Why move in a large group. Its much easyer for one person to move by them selfs." He was no assassin but this was not a normal play by any means. Dalamar hoped that the others inside the garden could keep security tight.

"Well..." Shiro said as he hopped down off the gate, landing with a light thud on the ground. "Either they expected to meet with some resistance and the solders are there for back up...or this whole thing is a distraction. Either way I don't like it, something smells fishy and it sure as hell ain't the sea. Anyway, I wasn't able to spot anyone yet, looks like they're still circling around if they indeed are going to land here. Being a beach this is mostly open, not a lot of obstacles or places to set up an ambush, just a few huge rocks really. We'll be able to go on a full frontal assault like this since the enemy has little cover, but that goes for us too. Problem is, we don't know what they'll be equip with. Before we make a battle plan I'd like each of us to state exactly what we can do, what our specialties are, and what the other two members should expect from you during this fight. I'll go first." Shiro cleared his throat and stood up tall, he wanted to be very clear now. "I'm a fighter, hand to hand combat is my thing and I'm real strong. I've got knuckles and these here arm guards for blocking, but they can only do so much and I usually just end up taking hits and countering. I've also got a staff that gives me a bit more range, but it's still not enough to label me as anything other than a close range fighter. This means I can handle multiple targets as long as I'm up in their face and can jump from target to target quickly if I need to, but once they're out of my range there is very little I can do other than run after them. The only magic I know how to use is Protect, Shell, and Bravery. Bravery boosts my own physical abilities by a lot, and of course Protect and Shell boots my defense against physical and magical attacks. I don't have any offensive spells but I can buff up my team as well as myself with my magic. So I guess to sum things up: my offense is high, my defense is low, I can support you guys with buffers, and my effective combat radius is limited."

Taking mental notes of Shiro's skills. He had to agree on what was said before hand. Waiting a bit he would stop leaning on the fence. Standing streight before kicking some sand. "My weapons are two large caliber revovlers and a galbadian style sword. I am best at fighting humanoids over monsters at both close range and long range. Magic is real limited to me. I have the common Scan, some what rare Haste and the hard to find Reflect at my disposal. If I can avoid using Refect. I do not cast it." It was true. Dalamar had a harder time fighting just big bugs over soldiers. Something he could improve with time but wouldn't change over night. Looking to the only girl in the team. He hoped she could off set the skills that he and Shiro had.

Antigone grabs her two chrome sais out of her belt and spins them skillfully in her hands. "I'm a close combatant too. I use limited martial arts, but these babies make up for it. I can also use basic elemental magic and cure, and I have a GF avaliable," she says, leaving her weapons in her hands.

Dalamar 'forgot' to mention his GF in his discription. The way he looked at it. Unless he was in a situation where things were going south. It would be pointless to use. Nor would Ark allow it to be used on just weaklings. With them all discribed as physical fighters for the most part. Plus side was Antigon had elemental magic. "Good thing you can cure. We might need that with our set up." Smiling abit he would lean back agenst the gate. "So Shiro whats the plan man?"

Antigone smiles at Dalamar, then looks up at Shiro, waiting to hear his answer. She was glad she wasn't the leader for her first mission... her plan would have been to stand on the beach and wait. She was sure Shiro would come up with something better and more interesting.

(sorry, no text effects, doin this on my phone.)
"The plan? Well lets see. Two close combat fighters and one close and long range fighter. Based on the terrain Dalmar would almost be a sitting duck if he was shooting. And if he were to pick a spot behind one of these bigger rocks...the soldiers would try to find cover quick..." Shiro stopped to think about it for a moment, how could he use this? He eyes the terrain once more, mostly open space except for the natural cover which was few and far between. "Oh, that'll work nicely. Ok, Antigone, you and I are gonna do pincer style attack. They will probably hit the the beach there as it is closest to Garden." he said pointing a section of the beech that came in a bit further than the rest. "The two closest bits of cover are that over turned row boat a few meter from the shore and that big rock that's a bit farther. They're far enough a part to crwat a sort of middle passage. Now way back here is this big old rock formation, provides nice shading right? Dalmar you will wait here hiding and shoot once they have hit the beach. The soldiers will split immediately, hopefully heading for the boat and rock for cover. Antigone and myself will be hiding behind these and take out as many as we can before they figure out the cover is really a trap. At which point well most likely get surrounded and have to fight them off. Dalmar you can keep shooting for a bit if you think you an take them out from there, or rush in during the confusion and try to back us up in an all out brawl. The distance you'll have to cover from here to the shore isn't small though, they probably will see you coming to us and attack. What you do whether it's rush in or continue covering with your bullets I will leave to your judgement. If all goes well the soldiers will be delt with quickly and the assassin will be left alone for a three pronged attack. At this point it's a battle to the death, don't hesitate to kill because the assassin sure as hell won't. The strategy for the assassin will become more specific once we start fighting, that one will mostly be on the fly. Dalmar if you can cap the assassin in the head with the first few shots then do it. Any questions?" Shiro asked finally, taking a deep breath after explaining everything.

With a flurry of wind two figures appear. Both dressed in black, one with broader shoulders and blue eyes, hands equipped with blades of steel. Face covered, eyes quick and scanning everyones stats. Springing to attack the trio. Behind him stood the slender figure with brown eyes casting another magic. Appearance slightly shorter, not as fierce. Equipped with a small pouch on her side, black fingerless gloves and face also covered with the mask tied like a bow.

((still phoning it in....lol))
Shiro was waiting for his team to reply, wanting to get into position as soon as they could. It was a good plan right? A nice ambush with a trap to help spring it. Sure there was an element of danger on it and it wasn't much better than charging in guns a blazin' but it was the best he could come up with and it should work alright. He just hoped the others liked it, because even though he had last say in the matter a plan was more likely to fail if the team wasn't behind it all the way. Unfortunately there was no more time for that it seemed, as Shiro picked up on a flare of mal intent. His battle sense took over as he spun around quickly. "SCATTER!" Shiro managed to call out as he brought his arms up, using the hard steel plates on his arms to block the attacker's blades. "These aren't the armed forces we were expecting...scouts?"

((are there soldiers too??))
"Yessir, that sounds like a great plan," Antigone says, eager to get started. They were interrupted however and she hadn't even realized they were under attack until Shiro told them to scatter. She manages to keep her head and runs for cover, giving herself time to fire a thunder spell at one of the bladed attackers more as a distraction than anything, before rushing in for an attack.

Getting slightly set back by the thunder, the ninja focused his first attack on Antigone. Running towards her at a high speed, blades ready. The girl casting aero in the direction of Shiro, which burst in a whirlwind of sand, and protect over her attacking partner only to start casting again.
In the distance a small boat was crashing onto the beach with what seemed like the figures of three.

((I hate week ends. lol seams I didn't miss to much this time around.))
Dalamar was a bit distant from the others before the attack. So it was kind of easy to over look his exsitance. Not sure what to do exactly. He was about help out but noticed some figures on the beach. Pulling one of the revolvers from his back. The one thing he couldn't fallow through was sniping the leader in the head. Revolvers were not exactly a long range weapon. Not in the sense of accuracy. Thanks to the recoil effect once the trigger was pulled. "You two handle them. I will see to take care of the landing party!" Saying out loud before taking note of the few cover spots on the beach.
