Andrisa wandered alone in the forest. She liked being alone. Most of the time. It got her away from the stresses of home and gave her time to enjoy all the little things. She heard the birds overhead chirping to one another and smiled. Andrisa liked birds. They were small and cute and entertaining to watch. She came into a clearing and decided to stop and rest for a while in the warmth of the sun.

Diablo had been at a nearby stream, enjoying the cool water (he was beta-like after all). But he'd grown tired of the sound of the stream and wanted to explore, perhaps see something new and exciting. He soon reached the clearing and saw the flowery pink female. "Interesting..." he muttered to himself.

Andrisa had found a nice plush patch of grass and laid down, watching the sparrows flit from branch to branch above her. She wasn't paying attention until the sound was fairly close, then looked around in alarm. Springing to her feet, she saw a red and blue male across the clearing. "H-hello?", she called. "Wh-who's there?" She was fairly shy to begin with, but being out in the middle of nowhere with a stranger made her especially nervous.

Although by nature Betas are violent and mean, it's typically only to their own gender. This was proved by Diablo's careful entrance into the clearing. "Don't fret miss," he eased, "Just a passing traveler, looking for some company."

"Oh", Andrisa replied as she sat back down. Nervous as she was, when she heard 'traveler', Andrisa's ears pricked up more than a little. She'd always wanted to travel, but priorities at home had kept her from doing so. Her nervousness dissipated as she stared at the brightly colored Hollow before her while daydreaming.
"Where are you traveling to, if you don't mind me asking?", she asked. The world was a big place. Seeing maps and reading books had shown Andrisa that. Her curiosity and daydreaming replaced her shyness and nerves and she smiled at him. "I'm Andrisa, by the way", she told him, unconsciously wagging her tail.

Diablo gave a light nod and a toothy grin, "Diablo," he replied. He took a seat and watched her ears perk and her tail wag. She was certainly an eager young girl, at least to hear what he had to say. "As for my destination, I've yet to decide. I go where I please, exploring the lands, always traveling." He shrugged, it's how his life had always been. "What about you Miss Andrisa? I'm not trespassing am I?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mister Diablo", Andrisa nodded. "Trespassing? Not that I know of. If you are, then I am too", she chuckled. She didn't know why, but she was becoming more and more comfortable with the other. Maybe because he seemed quite friendly and easy-going.
"You said you didn't know where you were going, but where have you been?"

"Good, good," Diablo responded, glad to know he wasn't invading her turf. He smiled at her laugh, she had an interesting sense of humor, and had definitely become more open since he arrived. "Where have I been?" he repeated the question. Diablo had to think on this one. Most of the time he payed little mind to his travels, enjoying the feeling to going rather than the destinations themselves. "I've traveled near and far I suppose. To all sorts of unique places with interesting characters. However, I have difficulty remembering all of the details of my wanderings."

"It must be so exciting", Andrisa mused. "Meeting new people. Seeing places you never thought you'd ever see. I would love to do that", she admitted. Andrisa wanted that kind of life. She wanted to be free from everything and be able to just go wherever she pleased, when she pleased. But it was impossible. "I can't do it, though", she finally said. "There are things here that need my attention".

"Oh?" Diablo was quite interested in what sort of matters would keep one stationary, particularly one that seemed to feel the need to wander as he did, "And, if you don't mine my asking Miss Andrisa, are those 'things as you so call them?" He no longer cared about sharing his world, he was more curious about hers.

Adrisa stopped smiling and looked down. "Well, I have a home to take care of. Cleaning and cooking and stuff. I don't really do much, actually. I normally just make sure my home is taken care of. Sometimes my neighbors ask me to do things for them. But other than that, I live a fairly boring life", she replied. Slowly, she started to ask herself about what really tied her there.

Diablo frowned, displeased at the unhappy look of his new acquaintance. "Well, who says you have to do all of this? Do you have family to take care of as well?" Diablo had never understood the concept of a home. Humans lived in homes. They had 'things' and cleaned the house and cooked dinner. Most did so for families....that's what Diablo had always assumed homes for: humans and families. He wasn't a human, and he was alone in the world. That was why he traveled. That was why he wandered.

"Well, no", Andrisa replied. "I honestly don't know why I stay", she said looking up with a look of confusion. "There's really nothing there for me..." What now? Andrisa asked herself.

Diablo took a seat and thought on this. The femme he now stared at didn't look particularly happy, she looked a bit lost. For some reason, this bothered him. "Well...Why not branch out then? Take an adventure? A good thing to remember is that you can always return home if you desire." he then paused, imagining the girl out on her own...it didn't sit well with him, "But you may want a traveling companion. You never know what could happen on life's adventure."

Andrisa watched Diablo sit and took in his words. She didn't speak for a moment, contemplating. Then she smiled. "You're right", she laughed. "You're absolutely right! I think I'll do just that. Just..Just pick a direction and start walking!", Adrisa said with more vigor as the words formed on her tongue. "I could go with you! I mean, it's not like I really know anyone else on a personal level. This is the most intimate I've ever been with another being. Oh how wonderful it will be!" Andrisa was so excited just thinking of the things she would see.
