Ooh, great read. Yes, there was absolutely that feeling that Capote understood these men enough to sympathize with them. Wonderful book. I got it after I saw the movie, which I suppose makes me a bad person.
Not at all. Sometimes I would be totally unaware of books if not for the movies about them! Gives me something to do while waiting for the film to come out in theaters or on video.
There's a new movie out called
Capote which deals with how he went through everything to write this novel. It should be an interesting film to watch.
