Avoid Death if you can. Look towards the stars. They are your only hope.

Death padded in the Dark Forest, eyes burning with fury, bloodied paws crunching loudly on the dry bracken. His red tipped tail brushed the ground as he threw his his massive head around. "Who's there?" He growled.
Moondust flinched as she heard Death. She felt sorry for the poor cat that he suspected. The she-cat sniffed her pelt, rapidly growing thinner since her days in the forest. She tried to groom her fur in vain, feeling dismay at her once shiny pelt.

Sunpaw saw a bright, dazzling light. Star's shot everywhere, and a faded, pure ginger-orange she-cat was in front of her. Sunpaw pricked her ears, and ran towards her mother, squealing, "MOTHER!" She ran towards, her, but in dismay, saw that her mother stood on her legs, and ran away. Sunpaw chased after her desperately, and she scented fear scent. Was her mother afraid of her? Sunpaw felt her heart hammering against her chest, in fear, confusion, and sadness. Sunpaw then skidded to a stop, when she saw her mother vanish. Sunpaw followed her scent, until she felt as if she was falling... Falling... Her mother's scent vanished completely, whispering, "Sunpaw...Sunpaw...My daughter...My daughter... I'm.....Sorry....Sorry..."
-------------------------------------------------------------
Sunpaw opened her eyes to narrow slits. She felt... Strange. Wearily, she stood up slowly, scanning the territory. For a moment, she was excited at seeing her Warrior Ancestors, and everyone she had known that died, after her confusing dream, chase, or whatever it was. She suppressed a shiver. Her mother had ran away from her. Why? She knew why she had to be in StarClan. She was dead. But no. Sunpaw didn't see any StarClan Warriors taking her in. She shivered, as she widened her eyes, and remembered about the Great Battle, and that she was now in the Dark-Forest. She had heard and seen her mother... But she had left. Left her all alone here. She had abandoned her daughter, to be like prey in these woods. Sunpaw walked towards an Oak tree, and she shivered as a cold wind passed over her, chilling her to the bone. Sunpaw let out a wail of sadness, and guilt. She had died, before apologizing to her sister. After her wail, she unsheathed her claws, and climbed on the tree, into the shadows. She felt the tree's scent of Oak wreath around her, until she wasn't visible, or scent able. But strangely, instead of panicking... She felt... Calm.

Gingerfeather sat in an Oak Tree when she heard rustling. She peered closer and saw a small she-cat that looked a lot like herself. She sneaked over to the branch trying not to alarm the cat. She stood on the branch the she-cat sat on. She realized she hadn't seen this cat before. And the ginger cat looked no bigger than an apprentice. Why did one so young have to die? she thought. "No need to fear young one I will not hurt you," Gingerfeather said hoping not to scare the apprentice.

Sunpaw gave a little squeal of alarm, almost crashing to the floor. Heart beating hard against her chest, she saw a ginger she-cat on the same branch she was on. Sunpaw was relieved that another cat was here. But...Was she friendly? Sunpaw heard the she-cat meow, and she replied, "Oh, hi. I'm Sunpaw... Of LightClan. I... I'm new here, I guess you can say. Erm, this is the Darkforest...Right?" She meowed, knowing what she would hear. But... She wanted to make sure... But as she looked at the sky, she saw no stars, not a single one. ((Or are there? In the description it says 'Look towards the stars.' But, the Darkforest doesn't have any...?0.0')) She shivered.

Rubypaw shrieked in pain as a wave of darkness rolled over her. Then it was all gone. Where am I? Is this a dream.. was I dreaming? "No.. no... no" She yowled. "I can't be dead, and in the dark-forest!!" "Anybody is anybody there." She cried. "Help me!!" Rubypaw broke down, wailing like a kit. I'm alone... Alone

Sunpaw flicked her ears nervously at a wail of a cat. "Did you hear that?" She whispered, trembling on the branch.

Moondust's eyes widened. She padded over to Rubypaw, her former apprentice. "Oh no..." She murmured. "Not you too, Rubypaw." She helped the apprentice to her feet.

Rubypaw's eyes shone with water, as she looked up into her mentor's eyes. "Is it rea..lly yo..uu Moo...nn..dust?" She asked. "Are we dead, how could this happen to us..." Rubypaw relayed the story of her death. Rubypaw wandered into the forest, bored out of her wits. There was nothing to do, but to hunt. Ah a sparrow, she thought. She leaped at it, but the ground beneath her collasped as she landed.

Rubypaw sucked up some courage and turned to face Moondust. "Has Starclan truly abandoned us," she asked, knowing the truth. "What are we to do now? Why are we here?" Rubypaw stopped wailing and asked her final question, "Are we the only clan cats here? Or are there others?" Darkscar scented other cats. I suppose I should see who is there, or tell Death. No he must already know. And now I feel no regrets, I deserve to live here, at least there are other cats. "Is that Gingerfeather?" She mewed to herself. Darkscar felt pity for Gingerfeather, because she did not belong there. Who is she talking to. Darkscar listened to their conversation, picking up bits of it. Oh, that poor cat, she did nothing yet faces the same fate as me. She sprinted away knowing she would have another chance to ask Gingerfeather what that young cat was doing. Darkscar halted at the sound of a wail in the distance. Another one? She ran off in that direction, hoping to aid the cat in pain. Two cats stood in the clearing before Darkscar Darkscar padded silently forward, making no noise as she approached the two cats. "What are you doing here, this is not the place you belong, " She hissed. Rubypaw jumped in surprise and turned to face the unknown cat. "We... have just as much right as you do being here... don't we?" She turned to Moondust in fear, hoping the older cat would know what was happening. Darkscar sighed and glared. "What have you done to get here." Then her eyes softened. "Don't worry, I'm not a threat, " She mewed, " as long as you have a reason for being here. " Her voice grew cold.
