Ok, here's the thread for the Castlevania Judgement RP. If you're interested, post a reply below stating which character you will be. This is a trial so if there is enough interest it will continue, if not then we can leave RPs and focus more on discussion based threads.

I'd be interested in this idea. Although I'd have to be a bit cheeky and ask if I could roleplay as the time guardian Aeon, my cosplay avatar. If I can then I will post a profile in the relevant subforum, if not then I would see about playing the part of another character.

OK then, I'll start this RP. Whoever wants to participate just write yourselves in. I'll be Soma Cruz and Death to start.
"So this is the cult's base. Hammer's info wasn't so iffy after all..." Soma Cruz viewed the dilapidated exterior of the Castle in the distance. Snow fell silently from the sky, almost making the abode seem picturesque upon its vantage point over looking the snowed in village below. Lights glimmering in the Castle windows caught Soma's eye. "Ah, I knew she'd be there. Now I'll put an end to this!" Self-assuredly, Soma set off, running at a fast pace through the thick snow that crunched unevenly underfoot. He had to make his way through a small section of forest before he could reach the village, and from there it would be straight on to the Castle and stopping Celia Fortner- the crazed cult leader who saw his death as beneficial to the wellbeing of the world. I'm not going to sit back and let others get involved if I'm the one she wants...Soma thought to himself, remembering Arikado's warning regarding chasing down Celia...Besides, I have the power to bring all of this to an end... Soma looked around him, the forest was appearing much denser and stretching out farther than he'd first thought it would. He slowed to a jog upon seeing no village in the distance, just an endless swarm of trees. "The hell?..." Soma breathed, growing confused. He turned to see the way he'd ran from, but again was met with nothing but dense forest. "Is this a spell...a trap?" He decided to conserve energy and walk, surely it was his imagination. Either that or Celia was starting her plans early.

Alright then I'll write myself in as the part of the time guardian.
With an almighty heave The time traveller pulled his clock-blade free of it's previous confinement in the summit of the clocktower. He had taken an enormous gamble in appearing in this unstable period of time, but it was necessary. Now the sky seemed to split open into a strange and ugly storm, the clouds rolled across the sky at twice their usual pace and the surrounding landscape was blanketed with an eerie tinted light. All around the guardian's current position small clock faced shapes rippled across the surface of the sky and surrounding areas in a manner akin to a night light. A slight smile spread across the man's dark lips. "You will not find this such an easy task now, will you, Galamoth?" Aeon mused to himself, almost proud of his work. Almost...his actions now meant that the time period he occupied had become a massive rift. All the souls that he had transported to this location would become unwilling combatants in his test to find the one to stop the Time Reaper, Galamoth's chosen servant. Only once Galamoth's assassin had been removed could Aeon reverse the effects of the time rift. "They should all be here, in time." The guardian spoke to himself again as he glanced at his pocket watch. After serval moments he put the watch away in his waist coat pocket and looked out across the expanse of forest that surrounded the Demon Lord's castle as well as the Clock tower he was situated upon. "...What to tell them though?" Aeon mused again suddenly apprehensive to divulge too much information about this predicament and even his own identity to the unfortunate time refugees. "Well, I suppose I'll think of something persuasive to encourage them down the path I need. They all have their vices afterall..." The guardian let the last word of his sentence trail off while he spied a lone figure walking cautiously through the woodland below. "Timed to perfection..." He chuckled to himself "The first of many champions has finally arrived." Without another moment's hesitation Aeon turned on his heels and began to make his way back down the clocktower in order to intercept the first victim of the time rift.

Hi Aeon! mrgreen
"I'm positive there wasn't a huge clocktower before the village. I think I would have noticed..." Soma mused to himself, spying the clocktower as it became visible from the seemingly endless span of foliage. He stopped upon seeing something white moving at the summit. "Hey, was that--a human?" Soma wondered aloud, he squinted to try and concentrate on the white shape but it was gone as soon as he had seen it. "Damn, well, whatever it was its gone now. I still need to find a way out of this mess." He reached into the left pocket of his fur-trim coat and retrieved a small cell phone. After flipping the top open and idly tapping a few keys which hummed a dull response he shook the phone lightly before forcibly tapping it against the flat of his other hand in some futile attempt to get it to work. "Oh great, is this thing broken now? That's just what I need." Soma sighed, realising that the phone was frozen somehow, the screen was a jumbled mess of streaming binary code. It was weird, but he had seen weirder things, so he simply returned the phone to his pocket and continued walking along. It was begining to dawn on him that perhaps Arikado had other reasons for not wanting Soma to pursue Celia, and this circumstance he found himself in could have been on of them.

♦Hello! smile ♦
Aeon had now made his exit through the gaping mouth of the clock tower entrance and was gaining in strides on the bemused boy he had seen from his previous vantage point. The fact that the boy had stopped to check something in his pocket had also bought Aeon precious time to advance. It was always an endearing experience to observe humans within a time rift, as their minds struggled to grasp the beautiful concept of time merging and coming to a complete stop. A rift. It was always endearing to watch the reality dawn on them, this boy was no exception to the rest. With a few more stides Aeon had caught up comfortably with the boy, he was now close enough to issue a welcome in his own personal way. "That small telecommunication device you possess will not work here..." He began as he stepped closer to him. It was not the best possible entrance on hindsight, but Aeon couldn't afford to tarry. Perhaps it would have been better to approach the subject from the front and not from behind...Aeon mused flatly in his own thoughts.

Soma started at the sound of an unfamiliar voice and turned to see its' owner. It was a silver haired gentleman in an elegant white victorian attire. He had a quintessential monocle over his right eye, and an air of refined omniscience. He appeared to be aware of the situation, smiling a slight and polite smile. "Hello, you're human...aren't you?" Soma asked tentatively, judging it unwise to provoke this person while stuck in a neverending forest, that and conversation seemed more likely to prevail than violence. "Do you know what is happening here? I walked into this forest and now it seems I can't get out."

The traveller genuflected politely in response to the boy's question, and his knowing smile remained glued to his face. "You are half right and yet half wrong..." He began with an air of amusement to his voice. " My name is Aeon, and I am..." He seemed to pause momentarily, choosing his words carefully before resuming his monologue. "...A traveller...and I would like to enlist your help, Soma Cruz." The guardian took a few more steps forward so that the distance between himself and the boy was now only a few paces. "You must understand that this place has become a rift in time. Only by stopping the being responsible can you and anyone else trapped here escape..." A convenient lie... Aeon critiqued his own choice of words...technically he wasn't lying. Yes, he had created the rift in time, but it was to stop the Time Reaper; the boy didn't need to know the specifics, he only needed to stop the Reaper. Once that was achieved then it would be easy for Aeon to reverse the effects of the rift and return all the trapped souls to their respective eras. Aeon couldn't help admiring the beauty of the paradox he had created. Dracula would destroy the being looking for his demise- whether through this boy or in his original form. Either way the guardian would achieve victory over Galamoth. Again Aeon took another step forward and offered the boy his outstretched hand. "Will you help me, Soma Cruz?"

"A rift in time...so, if I help you, I can go back to my own time? Is that what the terms are?" Soma quizzed this Traveller carefully. He had been right in assuming this person knew what was going on, infact they were the cause of it. Soma got the distinct impression something more was going on though, it had to be. He hesitated from accepting the Traveller's hand. "Who else is here then, and just what am I supposed to help you with?" Soma asked the man "You said yourself there are others here, and something that needs to be defeated. Define this something."

"Clever boy." Aeon applauded in a tone that both bolstered and deflated at the same time. He retracted his previously offered hand and let it rest listlessly at his side. "You see much, I will tell you what I can. Our enemy is one sent by a dark master that seeks to gain dominion over Dracula's throne in this time...by destroying everything in this particular time. I know you are rather intimately aquainted with the Dracula prophecies." Aeon looked levely at the boy with a gaze that looked at him and yet right through him. "This agent must be stopped so that time can resume, otherwise all beings in this time will cease to exist."

"Someone wanting to defeat Dracula? Why here? surely they can...oh wait." Soma was about to ask why Dracula couldn't be defeated in this mysterious enemy's own time, until he realised he was the reason. "So...that answers a lot, it means Dracula never resurrected again after my refusal. Good to know." He looked at this strange all-knowing man, his gaze was disconcerting. "We are trapped here until that creature is defeated, right? If we fail time is destroyed. That leaves me very little reason to refuse your request. Where would you have me start my 'quest'?"
