Ash walked into the cafe and sat down at a small table. She picked up the menu and started to skim through it, looking for something she and Max could eat.

Arrthenius walked over to Ash. "May I get you something, ma'm?", he asked in what sounded like an old Irish accent.Ash looked at the menu one last time. "An ice tea, fries, and a veggie sandwich please. Oh... And can I have a small bowl please", she asked, politely.
Arrethenius tilted his head. "Are you sure you don't want something more for your... pet? It looks like you haven't eaten in days", he asked, trying to find the right word for Max.Ash blushed and Max jumped onto the table. "Uhmm... No. We'll be fine. Thank you", she said and Arrthenius disappeared into the kitchen.
When he was gone, Ash pulled out her notebook again. She started to draw Cyrielle's wings and then the wings of any birds she could think of. She had a great memory. She flipped through her book and stopped at the sketches she's done of birds before. She's done drawings of almost any animal imaginable. She had a few notebooks already filled in her bag. She studied the birds and then put her notebook away. Aro was part crow and Cyrielle was part dove. She pet Max as she thought.

Arrthenius reappeared a few minutes later with the food and ice tea in his hands. "Here you go, miss. Enjoy", he said before returning to the kitchen.
Ash poured some ice tea into the bowl and watched Max dig in. She picked at the fries and veggies as she thought. I'm almost certain he's part crow and she's part dove... But something about him. I don't know. And why does everyone here have powers and are part animal. I only know that I can block some people out... and I pick up thoughts once in a while. That counts for something, I guess. Maybe the mad man's experiment didn't do anything to me.

Sage walked into the Cafe, followed by her sister who was chattering softly to her about the Cafe. Out of all the years they have been here, they havent yet seen much of the outside city.

Ash continued to pick at her food. Max finished his half and was now starting on hers. She took a sip of her ice tea as she watched a few more people come into the cafe.
Arrthenius comes out from the kitchen and stands behind the counter. (Your characters can either go to him or sit down and he'll come to you.)

Arrthenius nodded his head and went back to the counter.
Ash grimaced when she saw Arrthenius bring a steak out. She was new to being a vegatarian and seeing meat still kind of made her feel sick. She ate a few more fries, looking around the cafe and thinking.
