My husband and his family are quite upset. They vote Labour Party. I feel he looks like a bird of some sort, perhaps a Parakeet.

I've always thought he looked like a pigeon. rofl

Anyway, I'm pretty upset. I don't like him at all and I hate how he's planning on bringing back fox hunting and anti-gay rights.

I facepalmed, went "Oh no..." followed up with "Thank god I have plans to live abroad."

This has caused mayhem at my College, already. Those who support Conservative are basically a minority, a rich minority at that. Us who supported Labour & Lib Dem are a majority, a very poor majority who probably won't be able to afford University. >_>

Welcome to how most American students feel. Now you'll need to get loans.

I really don't understand people who have gay family members but yet are still opposed to gay rights, like d**k Cheney. Wtf?

In cases like that, it's most likely that that is why they are anti-homosexuality.

I really don't mind him. I would rather Nick Clegg had won, and I disliked him a lot during the period where they were all trying to get votes as I thought he was underhand by always saying why his opponents shouldn't win, instead of saying why he should. I don't mind him now, I can see that all MPs do this.
I respect the man a lot for having the balls to go through with the student tuition fees, for which he's got a ridiculous amount of stick.
I cannot see what the moaning brats are whining about. They don't have to pay until they can. They're running away with the 9000 figure that someone has said, and are now going on like it'll cost that for every course, and at every university. That is the maximum only. They're saying that it's a denial of their human right to an education, which is bs. The human right to an education in no way includes higher education. It has always been thus. You've always had to pay, so why use this card when all that's happened is the price has gone up?
I've debated with a few of these self-righteous people, and have used these arguments, and it's boiled their protests down to, basically, them having a debt over them. They don't want the stress of a debt hanging over them. Which means that all this fuss they're causing, all these riots and attacking royalty and throwing fences at riot police, is over the stress of a debt hanging over them. Which is pathetic.
